Our trip to Wiesbaden and Mainz was a private tour, as there were only the two of us and the driver/guide, who took us around in a limo, and we visited these two very picturesque historic cities not too far from Frankfurt. Teddy (the guide) took us to see and explained all about the important sites, and gave us also free time to browse around as much as we felt we needed. It was a relaxing trip, and quite satisfactory.

The guide was very uninformed about most of the monuments in Wiesbaden. Did not take us to Mainz. Almost crashed the car in a red light. He also made me pay for his drink in the Cofe shop he took us there. Save your money.

It was a wonderful cruise on the Rhine! I hadn't been on the Rhine in 32 years-so brought back a lot of memories of when I was a child. Very laid back and relaxing. I cruised from Rudesheim to Koblenz, then took the train back to Wiesbaden. Be sure to put on sunscreen during the summer months-I forgot & got a nice sunburn.
