Great trip with fantastic views, the Samba show was really entertaining and the food was great. Picking up all the people is the worst part of the trip as it takes so long. The guide forgot my hotel and drove past it at midnight so delayed in getting back to hotel.
Not just a walk by The Favelas, but actually walking into them. A real interesting place. Had great weather in August.
This really was a great way to experience more than just the tourist traps of Rio. Daniel was fantastic - passionate about his city and guiding. It was a bonus that along the way we met many people who knew Daniel personally which really added to the authenticity - I felt like a local rather than a tourist. Getting around via public transport built my confidence to do it on my own for the rest of the week. It was great to visit Santa Teresa although this was the first stop of the day and everything was closed.
Excellent tour - comfortable transportation, and Alex was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable about the history of Brazil and had a great, good-natured sense of humor - especially when talking about football with a couple of German tourists! The Favela was a real highlight!
My trip to Corcovado Mountain, Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain Day Tour were outstanding. It was a trip which took my breath away, and once I was on top, having the view and wide spread of land spread underneath me, has an everlasting effect on me. I will advise you to have this type of tour if you are about to visit Rio De Janeiro, I thought I would have done it on my own, but no, I wouldn't have been able to see and visit these places, as the way it was all co-ordinated and planned by the tour leader himself. Talking about the tour leader, he was a guy full of spirit. As he was explaining all about the places we were in, and, in between he joked and made sure to keep that smile on your face. His English was perfect by the way, so there was no doubt that I would not get an answer off him whenever I asked the question. Midway during the tour, we were taken to a restaurant where the food still bursts my taste buds whenever I seem to think about it... So all in a short phrase,it was a perfect day to remember, it was a remarkable holiday, and worth the money spent on it. Go for it... you know you want to...
Tour guides were great
Enjoyable day out to visit two Icons of Rio Weather can be changeable so it is just your luck. We were lucky
The tour was well organized and the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately the weather didn't coooperate, but that wasn't the tour operators fault.
Breath taking. Very well organized tour with diversified group of customers around 20 in a same bus consisting of British, Irish, American, Italiano, Japanese, and Spanish speaking. The tour guide spoke all of these languages except for Japanese. Very impressive.

Nice tour but spent 2 hours picking up and dropping off tourists!
Excellent tour, our guide Fatima was very informative and very organized. Beautiful scenery. We had a perfect day with the weather being cooperative. The clouds were going when we got up to the most important part of our tour to see the Christ Redeemer statue.
Waited over an hour with multiple calls for pickup. Finally I was told that the tour was canceled and I was rebooked for the next day. Guides were just OK. Not much useful information. LOTS of wasted time waiting for various buses. Very nice lunch.

I had been up Corcovado mountain the day before this tour, but due to misty weather the statue wasn't very visible. Being an iconic landmark in Rio, I just had to go back up on a clear day - it was worth it!
This was a great tour! So glad we did it, we were able to see all the big items in one day and it was well worth the price. It was a bit overcast and cloudy on the day we went so we didn't have the best views, but otherwise everything was great! Our small group of 7 was perfect.
It was well organized and everything that I expected and even more! I was very impressed with the guides, they were knowledgeable, courteous, and proficient in several languages. I will recommend this to anyone who is planning to visit Rio and wants to do everything in one-day.
The tour company was great. They were at our hotel at the appointed time. They did a great job making sure we got through the lines smoothly. We had a nice lunch betweeen Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ Redeemer. Sugar Loaf was nice. It provided a nice view of Rio de Janerieo. It can get crowded. Christ Redeemer was great. It is quite a ride up the rail to the top. It is such an icon, it was great to be able to see it first hand. Is a nice day long activity to see different parts of Rio.
Very good,must see
enjoyable day spent on both the sugar loaf, and Corcovado mountains! tout guides were excellent ! would recommend to anyone!
You can see the Christ the Redeemer anywhere you are in Rio. Took the cog train to Corcovado Mountain. This is the best place to see in Rio de Janeiro!
This is a great tour for one day. But it would be better if Christ Redeemer can be arranged in the morning because in the afternoon it is hard to take a picture in front of the status due to the sunlight.
The tour was worth it! Wonderful places and beautiful city.
The guide was very knowledgeable, and had good hold on English.
There was a lot of time wasted in picking up and dropping guests. So, if you know the city I would suggest going on your own.

This was an excellent tour and worth the price for the beautiful panoramic views as the vistas were simply amazing. However, the tour was poorly executed. There was confusion as to WHERE we were to be picked up even though we had confirmed both through Viator and through the local tour company TWICE! Therefore, we were picked up late almost 30 minutes. Secondly, each segment of the tour had different tour guides which was frustrating. Also, this was booked as a full day tour, but we got combined with others who were only on one or two sections of the tour and time was wasted picking up and dropping off tourists. To top it off, we had both LUNCH and DINNER at the SAME RESTAURANT. The guide for the restaurant made us wait over an hour after lunch was finished before the bus came to pick us back up. This should never have happened on a very expensive full day tour. A lot of time is wasted by having to travel around the city to pick up the tourists which took about an hour at pick up and an hour at drop off. It's a waste of time. The Plataforma Samba Show was interesting but it was a bit tatty. The costumes were pretty but needed mending, some of the show girls had tears in their stockings, and what was worse was that the showgirls came out into the audience trying to sell their barely covered bodies for pictures with the audience. Then when you didn't purchase a photo, they snarled at you. This was not appreciated by the women of the group.
The tour was outstanding. The guide spoke English very well and I will use Viator again when the next occasion comes up.
