Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
This tour turned out to be a highlight of my Italy holiday. It was wonderful largely due to the very knowledgeable and lovely guide. She really went the extra distance to make this tour simply outstanding. The Borghese Gallery and Gardens tour is a must for any holiday in Rome. I had booked other tours with different companies and these subsequently turned out to be very limited and a waste of money. From now on I will stick to Viator as their tours are good value.

The Borghese Gallery is a must see for Rome! I love that they limit the crowd by reservations. The sculptures are magnificent. We loved our enthusiatic guide who enhanced the art with background and insights.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
The tour was excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. This was my second time visiting Borghese Gallery and the guide enhanced my appreciation of the works of art. The tour of the gardens was also very fun as my tour was on a Sunday and the people of Rome were out enjoying the gardens as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to any visitor to Rome.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
Our guide, Rebecca, was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Borghese Gallery. She was a native English speaker but also spoke Spanish and Italian. We highly recommend this gallery and tour for anyone interested in seeing some of the best art in Italy.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
This tour was on our last of 8 days in Italy and quite frankly I was not expecting much from it. Boy was I wrong. The Borghese Gallery and Gardens are must-sees, a delightful change of pace from Rome otherwise and the gallery's pieces are stunning. Definitely get a tour guide to help you appreciate all you are seeing. Tiffany, our guide and an American ex-pat living in Rome was one of the best tour guides I have had on any tour ever taken anywhere. She knew her stuff and knew how to convey her excitement about it. I highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Private Tour: Borghese Gallery and Baroque Rome Art History Walking Tour
Our visit to Borghese was wonderful. Our guide was excellent. I don't know how we would have seen so much of the gallery with only having two hour if we had not had a guide.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
Don't hesitate to book the Borghese tour because you think it might be a "boring" gallery or museum. Simply amazing. Our guide was an art major which added so much. She was funny, beautiful, spoke perfect English so she was easy to understand. The Borghese is filled with so many great works, you could go 5 days in a row and see something you missed before. A highlight of our vacation. Thank you.

I really enjoyed touring this Gallery and learning the history behind the Borghese family. All thanks to our AMAZING tour guide (Ashley)! The gardens were mainly an enormous park in the heart of Rome, but a nice walk. Long lines (sold out days in advance) make this tour worth the expense - but the added bonus of an excellent, well versed tour guide made this one 5 starts for us!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
This was a great tour. If you are an art fan, the Borghese Gallery is a must see. Our tour guide was excellent --- she really knew a lot about Bernini (for one) and was able to help me appreciate the story and beauty of the sculptures the way the artist intended (in a circular motion). Our tour guide helped bring the art to life and added details about each artist's life. This museum is now one of my favorites and I believe this tour added quite a bit to my appreciation of the art -- a highly recommended tour.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
Loved the tour of the Gallery. Our guide was great and we felt like we were able to enjoy the art. But what happened to the so called tour of the gardens? We whipped past the first one behind the gallery and then were only allowed a peek through the fence into the others. We certainly did not get our hours worth of Garden. Also we went to lunch at the little cafe at the Borghese park and I got very sick and had to pass on the tour. We took a taxi back to our B and B where I went to bed. When we cleed to reschedule the tour we had to pay another E40. So this tour was extremely expensive for us.

We had a terrific time at the Borghese gallery. Our tour guide was excellent, very informative but with a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour
Joanne was a reasonable guide, who needs to continue to study art and iconography and to confess when she doesn't know the answer to questions. The gallery itself is very worthwhile visiting, but the tour should be reduced to 2 hours and the useless visit of the gardens eliminated - the info about it could be delivered in a 5-minute valedictory talk by the guide outside the Borghese.

Thankyou Valerio for a wonderful insight into the history and development of the Borghese Gallery. It gave us a deeper understanding of the pieces within the rooms and your art knowledge is excellent.

Our tour guide Ashley did an excellent job of explaining the history of the gallery and the Borghese family. The art was magnificent. The gallery was very crowded and different tour groups were competing
