This was a good tour, but we found that the scheduled entrance times at the Gallery left a lot to be desired in terms of the amount of time in the gallery itself. The tour guide was great and knowledgeable and we enjoyed her take on the paintings, but spending a bit less time at each of the sculptures and paintings would have left us more time to see the rest of the collection before we had to leave. The walking tour of the Villa Borghese was a nice added touch.

My wife and I booked 6 tours on our recent vacation to Italy. Two of these were thru Viator.
The Borghese Gallery and Gardens walking tour was the most enjoyable. Our guide was able to involve the tour group with her appreciation of the Gallery. As a tour guide she presented a unique experience in a short time frame to two people who lived 5000 miles away.
GOOD JOB!!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery and Gardens Walking Tour

Outstanding! Our guide was fabulous...very personable and knowledgeable. The Borghese Gallery and Gardens are a must-see for anyone visiting Rome!

Our guide was superb. She was an Art historian and her knowledge of the works within the Gallery was tremendous. She made the tour come alive and we walked away with a much better understanding of the Borgheses and their era.

Great tour and very informative guide. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the Borghese Gallery.

The Borghese Gallery tour was a very good option, you cannot visit it unless you have a reservation anyway. It was good to have a guided tour also, although our guide looked a bit „tired” and not that enthusiastic.

The Borghese Gallery was amazing and our tour guide extremely knowledgeable. The Gardens part of the tour was under whelming as we couldn't hear her talk (no microphone, or head set() and we were all the way in the back.

I had no idea we were paying for an English speaking guide at the Borghese Gallery. I have visited the gallery at least 19 times and have bought tickets on the internet ) just the tickets; The guide we had was an novice - and very unprofessional. I shall never book through Viator again.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery Tickets

Skip the line tickets were a great way to see the Borghese Gallery. We enjoyed being able to spend more time on things that interested us and less on things that didn't. Since we had our 8 year old daughter with us, it was better to be able to go at our own pace than to be caught up in a large group tour.

Since the Borghese Gallery only admits 200 people every 2 hours, the tickets are sold out 2 days ahead. While I thought it was absurd to mark up the price of entry so much, it is inevitable given the competition for the tickets. The people were friendly, helpful and right out front where they could be found easily.

The tour of the Borghese Gallery was outstanding. The tour guide provided insights to the sculptures and paintings that we would have missed if we had taken the tour on our own. Unfortunately, we were unable to continue the tour after the Gallery as we were both ill. Our compliments to the tour guide.

Borghese Gallery & Gardens tour was wonderful, great guide. Sorry but I don't remember her name. However the person to check in with outside the gallery was unmarked, and very hard to find. Once we found him, he was very disorganized!! He needs a sign or shirt and a PLAN! Check-in was a Nightmare! Great tour! Tour 5 Stars!

The visit to the Borghese Gallery and Gardens was excellent and not only because of the wonderful works of art but because the English woman guide was terrific. If I could be sure of getting someone of her calibre to teach me I would sign up for a History of Art class tomorrow, Her knowledge and enthusiasm made her a first class guide.

Tour of the Borghese Gallery was great. Unfortunately, we had ten minutes to meet outside for the Gardens tour and we were three minutes late. The group had already departed. We were disappointed. Our guide had told us if we weren't taking the Gardens tour, to let her know ahead of time. So I was surprised when they had left so promptly. If I wasn't planning on taking the Garden tour, I would have told her, thanked her and tipped her. Oh well.
