Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
My wife and I arrived about 30 minutes early for our tour near Trajan's Column. Since this was our first Viator Tour, we were apprehensive about the initial meeting. Fortunately, Alex was standing there with his blue shirt and clipboard and he "signed us in" for the tour. He told us to come back in 15 minutes. We walked near Trajan's Market and then returned to find Rebecca, our Tour Guide, and the rest of the tour group waiting. After we all introduced ourselves, Rebecca immediately started the tour with a description of Trajan's Column, Roman Forum, Victor Emmanuel Memorial, Capitoline Hill, and Venezia Plazza while walking toward the Cordonata Stairway leading up to the Campidoglio Plaza on Capitoline Hill. After a detailed explanation of the history of Michelangelo's designing of the Plaza and the Museum Buildings, Rebecca took us into the Museum and showed us the masterpieces and explained the highlights and history of each work - with ample time to ask whatever questions we may have. She also showed us the magnificent vistas of the Roman Forum and the rest of Rome from the Museum and the Memorial Building. The tour was an extremely interesting and informative experience, and Rebecca deserves all the excellent reviews and praises she has received on the Viator Website. James S.

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
Our tour guide Rebecca was fantastic, best I've ever seen and I have probably taken 30 tours or so over the years. Great overview given both on the history of Rome and the Museum. This was my 5th trip to Rome and second time in the Capitoline Museum and I learned a lot that I had missed in earlier visits, thanks to Rebecca!

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
Rachel was the best tour guide - her enthusiasm for the city of Rome and the art work was contagious. I'd visited the Capitoline Museums by myself on a previous trip with a guidebook - but learned so much more from Rachel. The BEST!

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
I was glad to go on this tour because our tour guide's commentary was helpful in understanding the different monuments that I just would have walked by without knowing what was so special about them, and the history of ancient Rome leading up to the present day. I loved the Lux in Arcana special exhibit at the Capitoline museums, also.

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide was great (a young girl from IrelanD) She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about early Roman History which she briefed us on before the Capitoline Museum. The Guide makes all the difference. Excellent!

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
If you want to see everything then go to the Capitoline yourselves, however if you want to see the highlights this is an excellent tour - especially highlighting things you may otherwise miss..

Doing what: Capitoline Museums and Origins of Rome Walking Tour
My guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Roman history and everything in the Capitoline Museum. I had "done my homework" in terms of knowing what I'd see there, so the added knowledge she provided was like the icing on the cake.
