Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
It was a really good trip from Rome to Capri. Since we were in a group of 8 people in the same hotel, the bus picked us up at the hotel and took us to the meeting place to start the tour. We had a smooth trip from Rome to Naples in a comfortable bus until we reached the port to take the boat to Capri. There, there was another guide who guided us till Capri Island.
Everything was OK and we were happy we did this tour.

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
Wonderful trip - everything went so smoothly. Christine, our tour guide, was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Capri was awesome and worth the trip!!!! The island is beautiful and busy. Blue Grotta was an experience not to be missed. Everything really does look just like the pictures. Would definitely recommend and would do again.

Doing what: 2-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
The trip was exelent, very well organized and the guide during all the tour (were about seven) were spectacular. Naples is beautiful but Sorrento was the best. Capri is very small Island and I not prefer so small Island. Thank you very much for such a beautiful experience and all organization. I will recommend Viator.com to everyone to meet new places all over the world.
Thank you once again.

Doing what: 3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
This trip was just perfect! The right amount of time to spend in both Naples and Pompeii, and the hotel in Sorrento was lovely. Dinner both nights was amazing, and also a nice breakfast buffet. I had a view of the bay outside my hotel window. The day trip to Capri with Sascha was very pleasant, and we got to see the Blue Grotto. You should definitely go on the chairlift to the top of the island, also - the view is breathtaking. I took the bus to Positano on the 3rd day, and it was so beautiful, the color of the water was unbelievable. It was raining off and on during the whole trip, but that helped to cool down the temperature and humidity so it was pleasant, and when the bus left Sorrento we could look out over the bay and there was a full rainbow stretching from Naples to Capri. It was amazing!
(I would not advise trying to go to more than one town on the Amalfi Coast that 3rd day, though, because you might be waiting for the public buses for a while and might not get back to Sorrento in time for the tour bus back to Rome.)
I would definitely recommend taking this trip!

Doing what: 3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
Absolutely wonderful. I loved every moment and the anticipation of it all. The service was great, the bus was a bit beaten up but ok overall. I absolutely loved Sorrento and Capri. The Guide for capri, Sasha was the best, great humor, lots of patience and very knowledgable. Try to request him!. Capri was belong words...Try and take the teleferico to the to of the island and you will get some incredible photos. BTW the trip is log so try and get comfortable as the roads are very much curvy and full of turns. I wish there was a 4 day tour of Sorrento and Capri only as they have so many things to see. Pompeii was great but you can skip it as Napoli was a bit too unclean for my taste. What made the best part of Capri was the visit to the Blue Croto..a great experience. I would recommend this trip to anyone!.

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
If you haven't got Capri on your list of places to visit then it should be!! Words can't even begin to describe how beautiful the island is and the tour is fabulous. I highly recommend doing the blue grotto. It's absolutely amazing! It was a really well organized tour.

Doing what: 3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
This three day tour is a must! The visit to Naples is quick. However, our tour guide, Fabiano, made sure to show us all the must-see spots close to the port. Definitely made us want to book a return trip to Italy to see more of the city! Pompei was unbelievable! Fabiano was extremely knowledgable and made the 2 hour tour quite entertaining. The time spent in Sorrento was fantastic! We stayed in a beautiful hotel, ate scrumptious meals, and most of all just enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the costal city. There is ample free time in the evenings for exploration and shopping. We were lucky enough to visit the Blue Grotto on our visit to the island of Capri which definitely made my trip! The time spent in the boats was a lovely oppurtunity to bask in the sun! I strongly suggest taking the chair lift up to the top of Capri dung free time after lunch. The views are spectacular and it is a great oppurtunity for pictures. The free time on the third day allows you the option to explore the coast as you wish. We had been hoping to make it to Amalfi. However, we did not get up early enough! Instead, we spent the day by the water. It was a perfect way to end an amazing three days. This tour is a must! In my case, it was a great vacation from my vacation in Rome but it was a spectacular taste of the southern cost of Italy! Well worth it!!!

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
So enjoyed this day trip. Our goal was to see the Blue Grotto ~ however due to rough seas we were unable to go to the Blue Grotto. The tour guides were great in making suggestions of places on Capri. Beautiful Island. Well worth the cost! Dr. Sally Baerman

Doing what: 2-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
This was a great trip and well worth the cost. The local guides in each place were excellent, and the hotel where we stayed overnight (Ambascatori in Sorrento) was wonderful and a highlight of our whole overseas tour. Naples was interesting, especially the huge castle which I had no idea existed, but also seeing what was not really part of the tour, i.e. the shantytowns which show another side of Italy. Pompeii was fascinating and I'm glad we had a good amount of time there. Sorrento was beautiful, but the best section of the tour for us was the fascinating island of Capri. Although we didn't get to see the Blue Grotto because of weather conditions we did go on a boat tour around much of the beautiful island, and also went to the highest town of Anacapri. The tour buses were comfortable, and while there were opportunities to buy stuff (Cameos etc) the salespeople were not pushy.

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
The tour was great. There is a 3 hour bus trip to the coast, but most sleep a bit. Our guides were very friendly and smart. The boat trip to the island on the speed boat was fun. But the island is outstanding! You have a choice for the Blue Grotto ($25 each) or the Chair lift to the mountain top as time is limited. We chose chair lift. No regrets and we had extra time in the lower town of Capri. The most beautiful sights imaginable from the mountain. Well worth the day and money.

Doing what: 3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
Very nice break to get out of Rome and see the beautiful countryside. We saw too many wonderful things to comment on them all, but of course the highlight of this tour was Pompeii. Have to see it because words cannot convey the magnificence. Also the day spent in Capri was beautiful. Rode the chair lift to the highest point on the island where there was a 360 degrees view of the island. We had a small group and a great guide.

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
Capri is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The color of the water rivals Hawaii, Cancun and the Bahamas. We had signed up to see the Blue Grotto but the waves were too high. This actually worked to our benefit as we were able to take a cheaper tour by boat around most of the island. We then took a bus up to Anacapri for lunch. Beware of the lemonade. It is lemon juice with water....even after added 2 packets of sugar...it was still pure lemon juice with water. Very Tart! Capri is known for lemoncello so of course we had to try that as well. Our guide, Pino, was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and nice to talk to as well.
This was a great breakaway and to me a little known gem to see when visiting Italy. We took the trip from Rome to Naples then the boat to Capri. 2 of us took the chair lift up to the top of the Island. You won't believe the views! Well worth the cost of the day trip. The bus was nice and comfy too.Watch the drivers in Naples while in the safety of the bus. You think NYC cabs are crazy? They have nothing on Naples drivers!

Doing what: 3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri
We loved this tour! Our guide in Pompeii was great! Although our guide had done this tour numerous times, he was very entertaining and informative. We loved our days in Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful and the meals provided (Breakfast and Dinner) were fantastic! On the day we went to Capri, the Blue Grotto was open, however, the seas were very rough. As a result, we were forced to bob around (in our boat) in the water for 2 hours, which made most of the people in our boat extremely ill! The island of Capri is very beautiful and well worth visiting. Highly recommend the 3-Day trip if you can spare the time. The coastline of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi is amazingly beautiful!

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
Loved it! Capri is such a beautiful place. My only complaint would be that we found ourselves rushed with a few of the activities. If you take the chairlift to the top of the island to see the views, you're strapped for time to souvenir shop and look around the rest of the island. I guess I understand though because of distance from Rome. However, we did get to see the Blue Grotto and it was amazing. The line can get long and it's a short excursion but a unique experience. So I guess if you choose to do the chairlift and grotto, your time is more limited - but those 2 activities really make the trip.
A grumbling I heard from others was that they felt that the tour was encouraging souvenir buying a little too much at the rest stop stores we stopped by during the bus trip. That didn't really bother me. We loved it!

Doing what: Capri Day Trip from Rome
It is a great tour when you are in Rome.Transportation is very comfortable, guide is nice. Although we were not able to visit Blue Grotta, it was closed because of high waves. They suggested a boat tour to observe the Capri Island from ocean for replacement. I recommend this one day tour for visitors.
