Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
This was the first tour we did after our arrival in Rome. Piazza Navona was a good meeeting point and our guide was easy to find. Fabrizio was an excellent guide - his knowledge was extensive and he was able to paint a picture in our minds of what Rome would have been like 2000 years ago. There was a lot of walking as you would expect - wear good shoes but most of it was on flat ground cobblestoned streets - the Roman Forum being the hilliest part. We visited the Pantheon what a place that was, the Trevi Fountain, Piazzo Venicia, Roman Forum, Caesar's Tomb and the Colosseum. Fabrizio kept us informed the whole time so that we felt we knew about life in those times. Would definitely recommend to others.

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
Excellent tour to find out about the ancient history of Rome. We visited Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Roman Forum and Coliseum. Because we took the tour in Italy's cultural week, we only had to pay 3 extra for jumping the queues. Our tour guide, Agnes, was a last minute replacement for some reason. She was excellent, really knew her history. The tour took about 312 hours and was definately worth the money and effort.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Ancient Rome and Colosseum Half-Day Walking Tour
This tour was amazing...And our Tour guide was great...I think his name was Vincent...I cannot say enough about Dark Rome Tours...It was longer than I anticipated, but that's because our guide took us through so many amazing places within the Colosseum and throughout the Roman Forum...Our guide was great and I would highly recommend him again...Also, make sure you book a tour because the lines are crazy and you don't want to waste half your time in Rome waiting in lines

Doing what: Rome Segway Tour
The Rome Segway tour is an excellent way to see the city. The guides are very friendly and have strong English skills, not easy to find in Italy! The entire group went from having no Segway experience to feeling fully comfortable standing on them in about 15 minutes. The tour contains a comprehensive array of famous places, including the Colosseum, Circus Maximus, and Roman Forum. The guides are very knowledgeable and provide good detail to help you learn the most from your visit. A great idea for a first event off the plane if you've never seen Rome before and are looking to get acclimated!

Doing what: Rome Segway Tour
What a cool way to see Ancient Rome! After 10-15 minutes of practice in the park up the street from the Segway Tours office, we were zipping around like pros. Just riding a Segway for 3 hours was worth the price of admission, but getting a tour of the sites in and around Ancient Rome will make it a lifelong memory. Our only complaint is that the tours of the Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, and Colosseum were only "drive by's". If you want a detailed tour through those sites, either plan on doing it separately or choose a different Viator tour.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Ancient Rome and Colosseum Half-Day Walking Tour
This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable, and we had an amazing time touring the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Bypassing the long lines was a definite plus. It was an exceptional way to start our first full day in Rome.

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
Awesome!!! Worth every penny. Our guide was fantastic. Not only was she an archaeologist, but she actually worked on some digs in the Roman Forum, so she was able to give first-hand accounts as to the history of the site. Perfect amount of time allotted for each site--we went to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona, and countless other sites were pointed out along the walk. We got this tour for only 25 US dollars--it was a steal!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who has not seen the sites of Rome, even if the price was double.

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
Best tour we took in Rome from inside the Colosseum, down Roman Forum, inside Pantheon, and tossing coins into Trevi Fountain. The guide was exceptional! You could tell she loved her city.

This was a very enjoyable tour, we especially like the section on the Roman Forum. The guide is very informative throughout the entire tour, and gave us an idea of the incredible history and development of Rome.

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
Truly the best way to see Ancient Rome! The tour started with the Colosseum, and then we walked through the ruins, including the Roman Forum. We got to see an archaeological dig! Eventually, we walked to the Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. We thought this was the best part of our Rome trip!!! The guide was wonderful and had a PhD in archeology, he was incredibly knowledgeable!

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
This was an excellent tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very nice. All six in our party enjoyed it, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Rome. We had been to the Roman Forum previously but did not get the insight that we acquired on this tour. It was fantastic!

Doing what: Rome Segway Tour
The segway tour is a great way to see areas of Rome that would normally be a long walking distance away. We went to Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, followed by the back view of Palatine Hill and Circus Maximus. From here we visited Villa Malta o delle Rose then went around the back of the Roman Forum

Doing what: Skip the Line: Ancient Rome and Colosseum Half-Day Walking Tour
Claudia was a fantastic guide and made the tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum really interesting. Would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to gain an insight into the Rome of old. Having been caught up 'in the line' elsewhere it also made sense to do the tour to avoid the queues. Would recommend Viator to anyone.

Doing what: Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour
Maria was helpful, not only with Rome, but with some great suggestions for other places on our trip. She made the Colosseum and the Roman Forum come alive, and even though I'd been there previously, there was a lot of new information she presented. She made sure that at the end of the tour, we had an opportunity to ask questions about where to go next, and she was thorough in suggesting restaurants, and other city highlights.
