We had an fantastic day and our guide Priscilla was excellant. The length of tours at both Hadrians Villa and Villa d'Este were perfect, and the short time in Tivoli for lunch was a welcome break. Very enjoyable and I would recommend this tour for visitors to Rome.

Fantastic day. Our guide was great, made the tour very interesting. It was easy to imagine what Hadrian's Villa and life would have been like because of her narrative. Enjoyed lunch in Tivoli with others from the tour.
Villa d'Este is beautiful, the walk around the garden magnificent. Our guide was very interesting and able to answer all inquiries about the Villas.
Booking tour was easy, locating departure point was easy and drop off point very convenient. I would definitely recommend this tour to all garden lovers and those interested in Italian history.

Had a great day at the Tivoli. Our guide was knowledgeable and very efficient in taking our group around this fairly large archeological site. amazing to see the ruins and hear of its conception and subsequent building. Must have been just amazing when it was completed Villa d'Este was great also and the gardens and fountains just gorgeous. We had a truly wonderful dayl.

This a very worthwhile tour. The tour guide was a trained archeologist who made the walls of Hadrians Villa came to live. Never tired of answering questions.
Tivoli gardens were amazing. A fountain whereever you looked and our guide again was very knowledgable.

The Tivoli gardens were special and worth the trip alone. Our guide was below average and Hadrian's Villa is over-rated unless one is a history student.

This tour was worth doing. Both beautiful places. However, our guide was not as good as other local guides we used during our recent 3 weeks in Italy. She did not give us any information during our time on the coach from Rome to Tivoli. At both Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este, some of her dialogue was not relevant to these sites.

The trip to Tivoli was extraordinary!! I enjoyed it so much! Our guide Rebecca breathed life into the ruins of Hadrian's Villa with her illuminating and personal stories of Emperor Hadrian's life, loves and achievments, which are many and of great importance throughout Roma and its ancient empire. The contrasting Villa d'Este allowed us to imagine how magnificent Hadrian's Villa would have been in the Emperors day. The gardens and grounds of both Villa's are breathtaking and not to be missed.

This was my first tour on my short trip to rome and i really enjoyed this magnificent villa it was amazing to think what a master Hadrian was at all different skills and experience and even today how much survived in good condition.Hadrians bathouse was alone worth visiting but this was only one of many gems to visit. The guide was very knowledeable. We then went onto the Villa d'este and the world renowned tivoli gardens.Again an amazing villa but unfortunately when we got to the gardens it was pouring down and unfortunately they stop the wonderful fountains when it does.Still a very good reason to go back to rome in the near future.

Very enjoyable trip! Amazing Roman remains at Hadrian's Villa made more enjoyable by a well informed and entertaining commentary by a native English speaker. Views from Tivoli are brilliant and the Villa d'Este gardens are delightful. Comfortable air conditioned coach driven by pleasant young man. A must see!

We decided to do this day trip to get out of the city for the day and it was exactly what we were looking for. The tour guide was informative and friendly and gave us a lot of information about both sites. The town of Tivoli itself was also very pretty and we found a nice lunch at a reasonably priced restaurant and a cafe for delicious cofffee and cakes. The coach itself was also very comfortable. Highly recommended.

An outstanding trip to the remains of Hadrian's palace in Tivoli, then to the Renaissance Villa L'Este with its extraordinary fountains/gardens. Larissa, our guide, was not just knowledgable, she was unstintingly helpful. Though it rained, the day was a great success.
