Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Small-Group Tour including Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica
Definitely worthwhile. My tour guide was very passionate about arts and she explained a lot of background and history about Vatican city. After 3 hr tour, we went back to the Dome and the St. Peter and we spent another 4 hours there. Truly amazing place. Worth every penny.

Our tour was amazing! Our tour guide was fabulous and did a wonderful job. It was our first time in Vatican City so we really enjoyed the education she gave us. TOTALLY WOULD RECOMMEND THE TOUR AND OUR TOUR GUIDE!
Not to mention we didn't have to stand in the pouring rain! Thank you!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Absolutely Fantastic! An absolute must to get the most out of your visit to the Vatican City! Though the Vatican, Sistine and St Peter's are visual wonders by themselves, you really must take advantage of the opportunity to be guided through it by somebody who knows every story behind their creation and what happens within them today! Our tour guide Rachel was extremely knowledgable, enthusiastic, and an absolute pleasure!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
I had gone to the Vatican Museum once before and the Sistine Chapel. I walked around and had no idea what it was that I was looking at. This time when I went I decided I would do a tour so I would be in the know. Best decision ever. From the very beginning our tour guide started to fill us with a wealth of information and in a way that was tangable and easy to understand. I would say the only way to truly get the most from your visit in the Vatican City is to take a tour. I would also recommend Viator. Our tour guide was so well informed and had studied art. So the tips and information we got was amazing.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican in One Day
With five million visitors a year the "skip the line" tour provides more time to view and an informed guide provides the interpretive information to appreciate the vast collection of art in the Vatican Museums. Keep in mind that visitors are not permitted in much of Vatican City so you will not see the gardens and other areas reserved for Vatican residents and visiting dignitaries. Our guide had an art history degree and was able to provide good information about what we saw.

Our guide Francesca was great! The tour was amazing and I would definitely recommend this as a way to see Vatican City, especially being able to skip the long line!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Awesome! We were booked on the tour with Tiffany and she was great. She was so knowledgable about Rome in general and especially Vatican City. She made the tour interesting with tidbits of information that I don't think you will find in any books. She answered all questions whether or not they were related to Vatican City. We learned so much on this tour about the Catholic church and its history, artists and their works, and other useful information. Tiffany pointed out details and taught us things that I can say I always saw that image or I always heard about such and such but now it has meaning because I know the history behind them. Don't hesitate to sign up for this tour. I don't know if there is a way to request a person but if you can request Tiffany, she was great!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican in One Day
I was extremly satisfied with the organization of the trip and guides who proved to be very informed and thorough in their explaining. However, it seems to me that one day is not enough for the Vativan tour and three more chushes outside Vatican city (but are the part of it) and for that reason I've come back to some churches and places to feel them and see them again.

The ONLY way to visit the Vatican City is with a guide that speaks your language. We had an elegant English-speaking guide. She must have been an Art-History master, as her knowledge of same within the Vatican City made the tour superb. VERY highly recommend this tour to others who visit.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Arriving at the Vatican City and realizing the vast numbers of people waiting in line to get through the door was enough to confirm our decision to purchase this tour. We were not disappointed, having an exceptionally informative guide who helped point out specific pieces of interest as well as sharing colorful stories that took place in the history of the Vatican. Our overall impression was one of awesome and great regard, our tour experience having fleshed out the basics of the Vatican so that we left feeling we'd had a rich encounter with the art and history contained within.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Vatican in One Day
Frederica, our morning guide, made the tour in the very entertaining. She is very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Vatican museums and the Sistene Chapel. She also explained all of the parts of St Peter's Basilica and the significance of various aspects. There is a lot of walking in the morning but it went by so quickly because of Frederica's personality and descriptions she gave. Rachel, our guide for the 3 Basilicas tour in the afternoon, was very knowledgeable about each location we visited, explaining about the papal doors at each location in detail and how each location relates to St Peter's in Vatican City. Overall we were very happy with this tour.
