The pink flowers in bloom in July were beautiful! The tour through the city allows visitors to walk down the original streets and visit a variety of structures. We really got a sense of how the residents lived 2000 years ago.

This is the sauna at Pompeii, amazingly well preserved. Pompeii is larger than you might expect, and the ruins that have been excavated range from portions of structures to intact rooms such as this one. Wonderful experience!
