Doing what: Rome Vespa Tour: City Highlights by Night
It was ok, but for that price a more enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide would be expected.

Doing what: Rome Vespa Tour: Off the Beaten Path
There are some things you do in life that will stay with you forever, this is one of them. Max and Frederico, our vespa drivers, were delightful. They took us to places we would never have found ourselves. Frederico, patiently explained the historical significance of each site. Absolutely fabulous!

Doing what: Rome Vespa Tour: Highlights of the Seven Hills of Rome
Massimilians was a great driver and guide. Even though he doesn't speak much English, he used his iPad translator to try explain to me as much as possible on the places we visited. Tour ended early coz many places were closed. Massimilians made it up by bringing me to places not on the itinerary.

Doing what: Rome Vespa Tour: Highlights of the Seven Hills of Rome
It was awesome; highly recommend and would do it again; Valerio was a wealth of knowledge so it was a great history lesson form an expert as well as a great experience of feeling like a local on the vespa touring around the city and the seven hills. We did this on the list day of our stay in Italy and it was a highlight and a great way to end the visit.

Doing what: Rome Vespa Tour: City Highlights by Night
After a six week holiday in Italy, my last night in Rome before returning to Australia had to be something special so I booked the Rome Vespa Tour: City Highlights by Night...I was not disappointed. It was a perfect balmy summer night when my guide Valerio promptly arrived at my hotel at 8pm aboard his stereotypically stylish authentic Vespa. Off we went to see this amazing city by night. The beauty of being on the Vespa is you are still able to talk to each other so I got a wonderful 'mobile' history lesson as we scooted around the streets of Rome. Valerio is a very knowledgable guide and took great pride in showing me his city. At all times my personal safety was paramount and it was a fantastic history lesson from a totally different perspective. Rome is beautiful by day but stunning by night. The tour included parts of the city that I hadn't had a chance to see including the Key of Malta, the first road to Rome as well as the standard favorites including the Spanish Steps, Vatican, Palatino, Colosseum. And no day in Italy is complete without a gelato so it was a fitting end to the trip to enjoy a delicious handmade gelato. The three hours went way too quickly but I can't recommend this trip highly enough. It was the perfect way to see one of the world's most beautiful cities, away from the double decker buses, queues, heat of the day and there's something particularly special being shown a city by someone who lives there. This was the ideal way to finish my first time to Italy and I am very grateful to Valerio for being such a fantastic guide.
