It's an area of Rome that you wouldn't know to go to and where everyone will tell you to eat at; definitely worth the experience because you'd walk by buildings without thinking twice. Watch where you step to find the silver plates memorializing where Holocaust victims used to live. Return for fried artichoke and the chili pepper store.

We thoroughly enjoyed this night time walking tour. We were shown parts of Rome that we would never have come across and the history was really intersting.

This is a must do! Our guide spent over 2 hours walking us through the mid-evil part of Rome telling us fascinating true stories dating back to the 1400's. He really knew his history and was a great storyteller bringing these people to life. I really enjoyed this tour.

This tour was fabulous because our guide, Massimo, was so very informative about Rome's past. Walking through most of this tour worked out great because it gave us a chance to actually interact with the "life blood" of Rome.

We really enjoyed our walk we had a guide who was from USA and had lived in Rome for 10 years she was very knowledgeable. The Ghetto has a very interesting past and is still a facinating place and the walk across the island to Trastevere to the oldest chuch in Rome was also great. It was a lovely walk and well worth the money would recommend to anyone.

I was on my Honeymoon and booked the Ghost and Mystery Walking tour of rome. This was a great time. The tour guide walked us through the streets of rome at night and gave us a history lesson of buildings. Of course the real life history lesson related to the ghost that still haunt the area :)

This tour was a steal of a deal! It is a delightful way to spend an evening. Our tour guide was Francesca. She has such a lovely personality. History is more fun when it sounds like gossip! She masterfully brought those stories of old to life. I was not afraid walking at night with the group. The nightlife of Rome is so vibrant anyway. There are always large groups of people around. I didn't pick up on any ghostly "vibes." It wasn't scary or anything like that. It was just an enjoyable, unique, memorable way to spend a pleasant evening. Seeing some of the sights by moonlight adds to their intrigue. Like I say: Steal of a deal!

Our tour guide was an American who fell in love with Rome at an early age and returned to attend school and live. Her love for the city was evidenced in her passion and vast knowledge of Rome. The tour of the Jewish Ghetto was wonderful and my husband and I were so happy we planned for the tour because it was an area that we might have overlooked or just walked through casually. After listening to our guide's moving and informative description we were glad we spent the time to take the tour. Trastevere was also a very good area to tour with a guide. There was so much to see that might have been missed had we done the "walk" on our own.

This walking tour may be the highlight of our 10 days in Italy. It is an amazingly well thought out tour. It covers ancient and modern Rome in its walk. If you are lucky your will get the divine Jeanette as your tour leader. The gal just knows everything that is important and dismisses the unimportant so each minute of the tour is meaningful. The best part was the tour group was only 6 people who she could address by name and engage in the tour. I know I speak for all the tour members when I say we appreciated Jeanette. In fact we took her to dinner in a restaurant she was able to wrangle reservations on a Saturday night. I know everyone needs to see the great sights but these ruins, the ghetto and Trastevere are maybe even more important to get a true picture of Rome.

I was disappointed by the walking tour in a number of respects. I considered the guide did not have detailed knowledge of Rome's Jewish Ghetto and I also consider that additional information appeared to contradict officially sourced details. One glaring omission was failing to visit the remains of the mediaeval synagogue in Trastevere The group was small which meant that there was plenty of time for questions and answers but overall I consider that the tour did not fulfil my expectations.

This tour was just great. We walked off the beaten path and learned some great stories about past Rome that left us wanting more! Having come off a disappointing tour from a different company that morning, we were expecting the same sort of thing but our tour guide was wonderful and I feel like this was a highlight of our entire Italy trip. I highly recommend this to anyone curious about the darker side of ancient Rome and to anyone that wants to learn some fabulous history!

Our guide, Graham, was a lot of fun. He was from America so he spoke very good English. We saw parts of Rome that I wouldn't have ever seen or even known about. He had a lot of great stories, only a couple related to ghosts, and his voice managed to carry over some of the more robust revelers on a Friday night.. I would definitely recommend this tour for a fun time out at a time most tourists are exhausted and turning in. When you can see the locals out having a good time and walk some of the more interesting allies and streets while hearing about some of the more nefarious inhabitants and their wicked ways. I would definitely recommend Graham for your tour guide, what ever that tour would be.

This was AMAZING. Our guide was great (American guy/bald) so many interesting stories! This is great value for money, the tour seems to last all night! Nothing like historical murder and ghost stories to make the night air in Rome seem a little more chilly! The tour ends at the Castle of San Angelo that you can walk round at night and at the very top there are great views of the city! A***

The tour is not really as expected. The stories are not so mysterious nor scary, nor anything iconic about Rome. Plus, it's a bit hot in august, (even it's night tour) hence the walking is a bit tired, i felt asleep most of the time. And be careful if you use public transport to get back to the hotel, cause tour ends at around 11:15, you get back to the first meeting point around 11:30-11:40, and the very last public bus/metro ends at 12:00, so it's really close and easy to miss the last bus/metro.
