we enjoyed both tours which gave you a good variation of city and country sightseeing and feel they were good value for money

The salt mine was just, ok. The ride on the bus traveling there was the best part. The information from the tour guide during the ride and the views were awesome. We were lucky we traveled on a clear day and could see everything.

one of a lifetime experience, very informative, experienced and friendly guide, great and puncual pick up service, convenient pick up and drop off location.

excellent trip, salt mines were brilliant and views of mountains spectacular!

Very unique tour with a lot of useful information to be learnt plus a train and boat ride thrown in.

Excellent, good value for money, thoroughly enjoyed the mine it's certainly a little different from the run of the mill tours.

Doing what: Bavarian Mountains and Salt-Mines Tour from Salzburg

Loved this tour salt mines absolutely amazing the slide was a big rush wanted to keep doing it thanks viator

Amazing scenery and really fun! What a beautiful place to visit in Winter! We felt like we were in Narnia!

The Sound of Music part of the tour was really good. You get to see 4 different places from the movie, our guide was really good - she was into the Sound of Music - we stopped for apple strudel in one spot. The salt mines tour on the other hand was a disappointment - not so magical, more educational

All 7 of us rated this tour as one of the top highlights of our tour. It was absolutely fabulous. We had great fun, especially going down the slides into the mine. The tour guide was very professional and willing to answer questions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

This trip was so much fun! We did it for the Sound of Music portion, but ended up loving the Salt Mines as well. The stop in Berchestgaden was great and our driver even pulled over to show us the Eagle's Nest in the distance and to let us play in the snow.

This tour was one of the highlights of the whole 5 week trip. The train, slides and boat were just fantastic and enabled us to enjoy a few unexpected events whilst learning about the salt mining process. GREAT JOB by the staff.

Walter, my tour guide, was absolutely amazing. He truly knows his history of Salzburg and the surrounding area. He let us stop numerous times when we wanted to take pictures. He exceeded my expectations and went out of his way to be accommodating. I will definitely be taking this tour again.

Great tour !

This was a good tour as it was more than just the salt mine, we found the rest of the tour very interesting. The sights were amazing. The salt mine was fun with the slides and oat ride.
