Was a little dissapointed. I think it would be much better in spring or summer when foliage is in bloom and it's a little warmer. Tour guide was fantastically knowledgeable and funny though. A lot of the settings were private property, so inaccessible.

Doing what: Salzburg Super Saver: Original Sound of Music and Salt Mines Day Trip

Great tour for the whole family. The salt mines are a must see and amazing and the Sound of Music tour was entertaining. It was great to see all of the locations we knew so well from the movie. Very knowledgable guide and beautiful scenery. Whole day tour and a must when in Salzburg.

Had so much fun in this tour. Must do.

Wonderful tour and very informative

Doing what: Bavarian Mountains and Salt-Mines Tour from Salzburg

Very fun!

This tour is great fun, you see some beautiful scenery, the guides were great, the salt mines were good fun, especially the slides and underground lake

Definitely worth it to do the combo! We had such a great day! First we went to the mines, which were really neat! I had never seen anything like them. The drive up was great too! There was a lot of information given about the area. And the Sound of Music tour was terrific! Definitely a must do!

Despite the sound of it, salt mines tour was really fun. Sound of Music tour is such a cliche, but you gotta do it. Was a singalong too.

The tour was well organized and the guides did a great job. The area near the salt mines is worth the trip, but the mines themselves are very interesting and well presented. The Sound of Music tour was great fun for the family - started a little slow but the drive to the church was awesome.

This combined tour is very worthy. There are a lot of site scenes. I wish I could come in summer.

I enjoyed my experience! The Salt Mines tour was phenomenal---beautiful scenery on the way and an informative tour at the actual mines. The Sound of Music tour also had beautiful scenery, but was a bit of a letdown for a fan of the movie as we mostly did drive bys of locations.

The trip to Eagles Nest was a bit dissapointing in that Hitler really did nothing there, and there isn't that much to see especially if it is a cloudy day. Otherwise I guess the view would have been great. But we did have a great time doing the salt mine tour, it was interesting to see how they mine the salt there and we enjoyed sliding down the wooden slides.

Great value for money tour conducted by very informative and friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour leader was fantastic. Would recommend this tour!
