My family really enjoyed our day. Our 15 and 12 year old enjoyed seeing the Eagle's Nest and Salt Mines. It was a bit unclear that there was a lunch break scheduled AFTER the Eagles' Nest in the village. Our guide was very informative and answered all questions my children had. He even reccommended a few things that were great.

The Salt Mines tour was a fantastic experience itself. The tour guide, Walter from Panorama Tour is always rushing the group which is a minus to the overall experience.

Interesting places to see but multiple others tours grouped using the same bus which is extremely inconvenient. Most of the time we were commuting between different locations to pick up and drop people. 'one hour' free-time for lunch consists actually into a 35 minutes 'lunch break' so, by ordering some food into a restaurant, we actually have had 9 minutes to eat. Also, is very common in Austria that the guide and the driver are asking for tips.

The tour of Saltmine was very good and with lots of fun and information. However, Bavarian Mountains tour was a farce. Just they drove us by and told the names of the mountains. I expected to go to the top of some mountains and have a view of the area. However, the scenaries were fantastic.

Would have loved this trip more, had our guide spoke English. The salt mines were interesting. Save your money and don't buy into the "Bavarian Mountain's" thing. It is just a trip up the mountain with all the people going to Hitler's lookout.

The Salt mines tour was good and informative. The Lakes and Mountains tour was not very infomrative and we didnt get to see as much as we had hoped to and had heard of about Salzburg Lakes District
