This experience was just amazing - the venue where you have dinner is upstairs from the original restaurant built in 803. You honestly feel you are set back in time. The concert was fabulous even if you are not a classical fan you cannot help but be taken by the experience.
The meal is also fantastic both presentation and flavours.
St Peters square is so majestic when lit up at night.
This is a must do experience whilst in Salzburg.

Fantastic. For lovers of classical music, it was a wonderful evening. Even if this is not your favourite type of music the evening was most enjoyable. Food was excellent and so was service.

Great dinner and concert, too much opera for me though. Audience enjoyed it more when they played the more well known pieces and when the opera was obviously a comedy. Maybe they should cosider a more popular program over all. That said, the two operatic singers were excelent as was the quintet. Several reviews have complained about the prices of drinks, especially the size of some of the bottles of wine, yet all this was laid out in the menu and prices weren't over the top (unless you order expensive wine).
To sum it up, would I recomeend it to some friends....yes!
Would I go again....no, not now that I've been.
The place was a little hard to find so allow plenty of time.

Even my husband, who was dragged along enjoyed this evening. The food was interesting and tasty and the music and opera singing delightful. We were annoyed by a huge group who came in late and were very noisy during the second act, I wish the rule was be there on time or don't bother. Then again, really there are no rules. The ticket said strictly no jeans etc but many people were under dressed. If companies would just hold strict to these standards it would be better for all of us. Having said that, we had a great night..

The ambiance and performance for this venue was wonderful. Food was also good. The only drawback for me was that I had asked for a veggie meal and it was not delivered. Would definitely recommend this concert and dinner.

This tour was one of the highlights of my 12-night stay in Salzburg in December 2012. You visit three different villages, with a boat ride in between, and the entire day is magical.

A brilliant night, so good I didn't want it to end. Lovely room, lovely table settings and real!! candles. The singers sang inbetween courses and wandered between our tables. They joked too. The only thing was the wine was a bit expensive but its such a special occasion we just went with it.

Even if you are not a classical music fan, if you like a bit of class you will appreciate this.

Wonderful! Great food and absolutely beautiful music. Just be prepared to eat a bit later as food isn't served until about 8:30.

It was the perfect way to end our week in Salzburg. The opera was very good as was the meal and venue (If a little difficult to find).

I dined there on Christmas Day 2012. The food was good, even though the waiter took away my entree to give to someone else at the table who hadn't been served yet (then returned it to me). He spilled dirty silverware down my back while clearing the dishes, and laughed.

The musicians were good for the venue, but they're not concert level like you'd hear at Hellbrunn Palace in Salzburg. And it was odd that the male opera singer sang directly to the musicians, and rarely looked out at the audience.

I discussed all of this with the general manager of the Stiftskeller two days later. He listened to everything I had to say, knowing that I didn't want anything. I'm confident that improvements have been made to the overall dining experience, but, to me, the experience on December 25, 2012 was disappointing.

Our family of 5 had a great day. The sleigh ride was fantastic(2 hours in all) and even though there was no snow in Salzburg, in the mountains it snowed lightly for most of the day. Magical! Could not think of a better family experience around Christmas. The stop in a ski village for lunch was good

Our group of six from Australia all agree that this tour has been the highlight of our holiday so far. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Don't miss this tour it is a must do. WE LOVED IT.

My family and I absolutely loved this ride, it was one of the most memorable travel experiences ever. It actually snowed for about an hour whilst we were on the sleigh which made the trip even more fun. We stopped for a hot chocolate and apple strudel with ice cream half way through the journey.
