This was not my first time..this time we couldn't get into the mirabell gardens..it was all barricade with chains...only could take photos around it.

The only complaint would have been our guide. He was a little too animated for me - making fun of the traditional Austrian/German clothing in stores that we passed; telling us to look at the grey clouds in the distance and saying "it was Germany"; most was not funny! 2nd time tour for me

An enjoyable tour but disappointing overall. Most of it we viewed from the bus and if you sat the wrong side you saw hardly anything. We got out to see the gazebo and stopped for a short break. The bus couldn't stop at certain points and photos were hit and miss. I feel it was overrated.

I hated very minute of it. The tour guide appeared to be an Austrian trying to be a smart arse American. He totally destroyed the fantasy of the sound of music.

Do not waste your time on this tour! You can barely see the sights where the movie was film. Stay in the old town instead!

Tour guide was excellent - knowledgeable and hilarious! The tour itself was amazing - very picturesque, saw loads of amazing sights - thoroughly recommend it for any Sound of Music fans!

Good fun, informative and friendly. Guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Due to the snow we were unable to see some of the sites en route but still a good day out. Hellbrunn looked beautiful in the snow.

Great tour for the whole family. The salt mines are a must see and amazing and the Sound of Music tour was entertaining. It was great to see all of the locations we knew so well from the movie. Very knowledgable guide and beautiful scenery. Whole day tour and a must when in Salzburg.

It was a fabulous experience, the tour guide was very good and helped to make the trip. I would recommend it to anyone even if they are not a fan od the Sound of Music!

Interesting but not what we expected. Many of the sights were simple drive by's. The tour guide was nice and very informative. I would recommend the tour but don't expect to walk through all of the places. Have a camera with a good zoom lens!!
