Doing what: San Antonio Grand Sightseeing Tour
Excellent tour. We did this tour on our first day in San Antonio. Therefore, if we wanted to go back to see something we would be able to.

The tour guide was very informative I think his name was JT. Very nice and friendly. Highly informative gave us more factual information than we saw at the lousie Alamo movie. Enjoyed ourselves very much.

Doing what: San Antonio Highlights Tour
Don't waste your money on this one. Love Viator and will continue to use them, but they are not necessary in San Antonio. You can easily do these stops on a hoho bus. But, regardless, the tour guide was very confusing - multiple times didn't know what he wanted us to do (follow him or be on own).

It was our first day of being in San Antonio and we felt that we received an excellent overview of sites. Our guide, David, was fabulous. Thank you from visitors from Minnesota.

Doing what: San Antonio Grand Sightseeing Tour
This was a tour that exceeded our expectations and was well worth the money! We were picked up and dropped off at our motel which was a bonus for us. We had a small tour group of 12 and our guide, Bob, was excellent. If you want to see the highlights of San Antonio, this is the way to go.

It wasn't Grand.. Viator promises things that are not even covered on the tour.. the Governer's Palace for example. It's a good tour if you have limited time and no car. The guide was knowledgable and entertaining, though gets points off for the "Preaching Catholicism" at the mission.

Doing what: San Antonio Grand Sightseeing Tour
The tour overall was interesting and the guide was very knowledgable bu the tour was not exactly what we expected. The two missions were extremely interesting especially considering that they are still active churches undergoing historical renovation. Market square was just a shopping expedition. The art museum there was closed for renovation, a fact the tour guide was not aware of. After this we were left off for two hours for lunch and a self guided tour of the Alamo. The afternoon started off with the Japanese gardens and then we went to the Texas Rangers museum, A place that was not listed on the viator itinerary. This replaced the Governors Mansion listed. The museum was a very interesting stop and was much better than expected. We wrapped up with a boat tour of the Riverwalk loop thru the downtown section. The tour guide went over the history of the Riverwalk and the buildings surrounding it. Overall it was an enjoyable day but we could have skipped the market square and down more historical sites in the same area.

Doing what: San Antonio Grand Sightseeing Tour
The only problems: the visit to the Buckhorn saloon and crowded boat ride. Had I known that the entrance fee was $17.50 for Buckhorn, I wouldn't have taken the tour. I wouldn't have gone there for free. Boat ride was too crowded. I would have preferred spending more time at the Japanese Sunken Garden. You should provide the entrance fee cost for each tour item that costs to allow potential purchasers to know exactly what they're purchasing.

All I can say is, TC, we love you! He was our guide for the tour and he was outstanding. The tour is a fantastic, fun way to get to know the city of San Antonio. Our guide was just fantastic. He was informative and funny, showing us a city that he clearly loves. If you are planning a trip to San Antonio, this tour is a 'must not miss'.

It was a great deal for the money. We were able to see highlights of the city without renting a car, etc. our tour guide was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Loved the river cruise and the mission tours and sunken gardens.

Doing what: Alamo Hop-on Hop-off Trolley Tour
We have taken several hop-on hop-off trolley tours in the past and this was by far the worst. The trolley only came by every 45 minutes, which wasted a lot of time, and one time did not come at all. It turned out that one of the two trolleys in service had broken down and we were left to walk home. The next day the single trolley ran a 1 hour timetable, resulting in even longer waits. I would not recommend this trolley.

Doing what: San Antonio Grand Sightseeing Tour
This tour was excellent, and the boat cruise was the highlight. The Japanese Gardens were beautiful and the old Spanish missions were very interesting. The tour included some opportunities for shopping, meals and washroom breaks.
I am looking forward to sightseeing with Viator in other locations.
