The dinner was excellent, the staff friendly and helpfull. The DJ had the group up dancing and having fun. My only complaint is that the service was a bit slow specifically with beverages and it was terribly cold in the dinning area; we had to go outside to get warm. Other than that it was a great experience that we would gladly do again.
I hadn't ridden a bike for over 30 years, but was persuaded to try this tour.
Well they say you never forget and luckily I hadn't!
There were 4 in our group, which was a nice number.
Our guide took us around the coast of beautiful La Jolla. We stopped from time to time, so that he could tell us about the area and local plant and wildlife etc.
We finished by riding back through the town.
Finally he dropped us off at our hotel for $25, which we thought was quite reasonable.
We enjoyed this trip very much. The guide was knowledgable and a good guy. Also the people working at their store were very friendly too.
Would definitely recommend.
THE MOTION SICKNESS WAS THE WORST PART, BUT BESIDES THAT THE WHALES CAN BE SEEN EVERYWHERE. THE CREW TOOK EXTRA TIME TO MAKE SURE WE SAW PLENTY OF VARITIES OF WHALES.
We had a great time! We saw a pod of 4 Grey Whales, Risso Dolphins, Common Dolphins, and couple of Bottlenose Dolphins. I will go again!
We had a wonderful time on the boat. The crew and Al, the "host" were all fantastic! Our original trip date was cancelled and though we had to run for it we were able to make a different cruise and it was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this trip for someone looking for a little something different. Even had we not seen any whales (which we did) it would have been a wonderful day at sea.
I absolutely enjoyed the speed boat adventure. The best guide ever! I will definitely spread the word and will do this adventure again!
A few words of warning about this tour: Firstly, entrance into the caves is dependent on the weather conditions. We did not get to go in the caves, and our guide said that they don't go in very often in the winter. Also, you WILL get wet, and I mean thoroughly wet, so be prepared and rent a wetsuit, or bring a change of clothes. That being said, we really had a nice time kayaking in the Pacific! I rented a tandem kayak with my 11 yr old son and even though we are both amateurs, we managed to keep up with the group and launch and land through the surf with no problems. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This is a good tour for anybody - you don't need to be an expert kayaker. Without going in the caves, there wasn't much else to do, but we saw sea lions and went to the kelp forest (not that you could see it) and it was still a worthwhile experience.
Great trip! Well organized, getting to and onto the boat was very easy. Parking is a little tight near the dock but we parked at the USS Midway (paid for 4 hrs) and made it back just in time. We were lucky and saw several whales on our trip, but even if that hadn't happened, we still would have enjoyed it. The captain was entertaining and informative, the ship was comfortable, and the views were outstanding. I highly recommend this trip - even if the whales don't cooperate, it's a great time.
It was a Beautiful Sunset Dinner Cruise. The service was Great!!! Food and Music was excellent. My wife and I had Fun Dancing and it was a very Romantic Evening. Highly recommended!!!.
We had a marvelous time. The food was delicious and what a wonderful selection. We enjoyed your staff and they paid attention to every detail. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and we want to thank you for making it so special.
