Doing what: San Diego Zoo Best Value Ticket

I haven't visited this zoo in over 30 years and was impressed with how visitor friendly it is. It is very hilly and there are buses and carts available to assist those less mobile (like myself). The exhibits are very open and the animals are easily able to be seen (if they want to be), and you can have different experiences (a behind the scenes tour) if you would like that. It is good to see the preservation of endangered species of both flora and fauna being researched. The pandas were amazing!! A good days outing.

What a great day my family had! So much to see...lions, tigers and bears, oh my! We spent over 8 hours at the zoo and are planning to go again soon. Great day out for everyone, young and old in our family! Thanks Viator!!!

Doing what: San Diego Zoo Best Value Ticket

We had a great time at the Zoo! It was lightly raining as we weren't sure if we were going to see that many animals, but the exact opposite occurred and we got to see a lot of animals that normally only come out at night but were out because of the rain. There were also few people there so we got to get up close to a lot of the animals and see the trainers feeding the lions and polar bears without any crowds! So don't be afraid of a little light rain!

The San Diego Zoo is amazing. It's so big with so much to see. The bus is a great way to start your day at the park so that you can get acquainted and learn about the park and see animals at the same time.

Doing what: Go San Diego™ Card

This card was a good value! It includes the city tour of San Diego, admission to the Zoo, as well as admission into various museums. Also, if you decide to go to L.A., there are a couple of tours there that are included with this card too. Finally, keep in mind that admission into Sea World is only included on the 3 day or more pass.

Doing what: Go San Diego™ Card

What a handy, money-saving card! For less than $100 it felt like we had the freedom of San Diego. The card gained us free entry to tonnes of different attractions including the Zoo, Whaley House and USS Midway. We also took the ferry to Coronado and walked to the beautiful beach there. The card is easy to use, just hand it to the ticket cashier and they will swipe and return it to you - no hassles, no queuing and no money required!

Doing what: Go San Diego™ Card

I mad the mistake of not reading this up correctly. NOTE: Seaworld is only included for the 3 day pass or more! We used this for San Diego zoo, which included the tour bus, express bus and sky tours which were great. We also visited legoland which was fun. Will read it up more carefully next time.

Taking the tour helped to determine what to see because it was warm and several animals were either inside or sleep. Additionaly, the zoo is very hilly, so using the safari tram worked well as well. The best show was the in the Manderina Rain Forest. A must see.

As always, our Viator tour was awesome and plan to go back next year and take advantage of the Zoo/Safari Park pkg. Always recommend Viator to our traveling friends!

Doing what: San Diego Zoo Best Value Ticket

I had a great time at the zoo! We were greeted right away by a friendly worker who advised that since it was our first time at the zoo, we should take the narrated bus tour. This was a great tip! We were able to see most of the exhibits then decide which critters we wanted to revisit on foot. The cuddly koalas were my favorite!
