The ride to Tijuana was great. The driver was very good in finding ways to avoid time delaying road blocks. The 5 hour tour was not enough to know the town. Just a brief look at the museum from the bus and mostly a chance to shop along Calle Revolucion. Walking along this street is like running the gauntlet. You get hit on by all sorts of merchants and it requires strength of will and determination not to be intimidated into buying things that you don't want. Prices are posted with a dollar sign and its hard to tell when it is in pesos. Bargaining is expected and even after they come down in price you feel like you've been had. But, it's a different experience, that's for sure. I don't know if I would like to do it again.

Very good tour but we were unable to do the additional harbour tour due to road works which was disappointing. Enjoyed the few hours in Mexico.

I dont think being stalked by street venders during the shopping part of the tour is a good reflection on what Tijuana has to offer. The tour guy was good and the driving part of the tour was good as well. Being afraid to take out your money to buy a drink without someone litterally pulling you into a store to buy there garbage is not very fun. I would recommend the tour in general but would warn others to get off the bus and run into the nearest taco joint and hang out till the bus is ready for the driving part of the tour.

Very disappointed with this tour, probably the worst that we have ever taken in eight years of annual world travel, the driver who tried hard at all times obviously relied on steering us towards his connections in Tijuana City, the restaurant experience whilst inexpensive was essentially tasteless, the shopping options were below flee market standard and little more than junk, to top things tripping over the steps getting of the bus and seriously injuring my leg which I had to stand on at the horrible two hour return border crossing, I just wished we had used our two night stay and travel to and from to San Diego expressly for this tour on another destination or spent more time in LA, Vegas, San Francisco or Vancouver

It took 3 hours to get back across the border (which we didn't know was a possibility until we got there). We felt unsafe, and the free snack did not taste good.

This was a great little trip to Tijuana, would have liked a little longer to shop, but overall very good. Driver was superb. US immigration on return took forever. Would recommend this trip for anyone wishing to see a little of Mexico and its warm and friendly people.

Our tour lady was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the history and area. We loved going to lunch and shopping. The only negative I have and its really not a big one is, I thought that we were going to get to go inside historical buildings. We just rode by them. I would definetly tell others to take this tour. Oh one more thing it would of been nice to have more shopping time.

Great!! But it would be helpful to give us a list of prevailing price of the items (ex. Poncho, hats, watches, etc)

The driver and guide were excellent. Very informative and friendly. It would be nice to see more of the beautiful parts of Tijuana rather than wasting most of the time in the slummy area. I think this is just a tourist trap and gave me a terrible impression of Mexico but friends assured me that this is NOT what Mexico really is.

The tour (driver Atala ) dropped us at one spot in downtown shopping strip,we had to be there the whole time, and the restaurant where Atala took us over charged for our drinks.(4drinks for 28 us dollar plus tip) , said the waiter that it's a happy hour and gave us 2drinks each and we didn't even drink ,it was horrible drink and mismatched glasses, food was included in the tour price the bus driver said. two 3inch tacos and beans.
We were expecting to visit cultural center and shopping mall and have a nice lunch or dinner in a nice Mexican restaurant, but never had time to go because we stayed in downtown too long. our trip was supposed be 5hour trip , took
8hours total, including border crossing.(about 2hours) , I think she just took us where her acquaintances' stores are. They are so high pressured, for that we didn't purchase any thing. My guests said they will never visit Mexico again, it was pretty disappointing experience for them.

Our guide was extremely informative, and described the city in great detail. Safety was a big concern for me, but I felt completely secure with our guide and we only left the vehicle in an area it was safe to do so (Ave. Revolucion).
