Had a fantastic day out in San Francisco-collected from the hotel ,visited Alcatraz,and then a very enjoyable city tour with knowledgeable tour guide.Would highly recommend this tour for all visitors-10 out of 10 for Viator tours

Excellent tour plenty of time on Alcatraz and then a great tour of san Francisco our driver was great well informed friendly and we learnt alot we also had great stops for photo opportunities

This tour is excellent and great if you only have a day to fit a lot in. Please ensure you re-confirm your attendance for the trip 24hrs in advance witht the tour operator locally, to get on your booked trip!! Alcatraz is amazing and the best part, Muir Woods is beautiful and a must see, its a lovely steady walk though the trees. Highly reccommended. The coach driver was great and knew his stuff, we enjoyed this very much.

Muir woods was beautful ,Sausalito very picturesque, would have like more time there so we could have a proper lunch as well as enjoy the surrondings.The trip over the golden gate bridge memorable, shrouded in fog just like the song. Alcatraz cold and forbiding and forever reminding inmates of the closeness of freedom.Tour guide very well informed and extremely helpful.pre and post tour drop off great ,adding to great day out .

Lovely day, Alcatraz was very interesting. I would'nt rush back to the woods, I'm sure they would be fantastic for some people. Sausalito was great would have liked to have spent more time there. Thanks to our driver Joe he was great.

The tour was excellent. Our bus driver, Troy, was very knowledgable and entertaining. Alcatraz is very interesting and I would certainly recommend a visit. Muir woods was a little disappointing as you have to stick to the trails and are not allowed to 'roam' but I can understand they need to do this for the conservation of the trees and wildlife. We only had time for lunch in Sausalito but I would recommend 'Napa burger company' whose burgers were great. There are also a few nice shops in Sausalito but the stop there isn't very long. All in all I would definitely recommend Viator and the Alcatraz tour and would certainly use the company again.

Very enjoyable way to get to Alcatraz. Make sure to book in advance ... No tickets available on the day. Sunset trip was fun too. Good food and entertainment and lovely setting. Good value. Highly recommended.

Love the Alcatraz tour. This was probably my 6th time with visiting family/friends. The cruise part was pretty good too. I recommend sitting on the top level to enjoy the live entertainment. Food was great. Scenery was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a big boat tour of the bay.

Definitely worth it. A great day out on Alcatraz Island then finished off with a leisurely sail around the Bay with a plentiful buffet and great staff. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for something a little different. It does get a little chilly on the boat in the evening so remember to take a light jacket or jumper however, you can go inside the boat if you get too cold.
