We enjoyed this multi-tour very much. The bus tour of San Francisco was great. It allowed us to svisit many of the places on our list with ease. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and had just the right amount of humor. we visited the Japanese Tea Gardens with time to walk the whole garden quickly, the Golden Gate Bridge with a stop for great photos, China Town and maybe 8 more places. I would recommend this tour. The part that went to Alcatraz was excellent. The short ride over on the ferry gave us lots of opportunity to view the city, Angel Island and other places we wouldn't have seen. After arriving at Alcatraz we had a good guided tour of the infamous facility. Not too long and not too short. The trip over to Sausiolito was again a short ferry and lovely. We had "free time" to choose a lunch spot and have an hour for lunch. We hurried over to the burger place on the waterfront and thought we made a good choice. All together, my husband and I agree that it was worth the time and money - a good recommendation from us!

Doing what: San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise

Great way to see the Bay. You get an excellent view of the city and a look at Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge.
Quality food as well.
(Just prepared for some cold weather!)

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

THE HELICOPTER TOUR WAS WONDERFUL. NEVER BEEN IN ONE OF THOSE THINGS BEFORE. IT WAS RAINING, SO THAT DID COMPLICATE A LOT OF THINGS LIKE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM, BUT THE TOUR WAS GOOD. OFCOURSE WE COULD NOT SEE AS MUCH AS WE COULD HAVE SEEN ON A CLEAR DAY, BUT NO ONE IS IN CHARGE OF THE WEATHER. WAS REALLY HAPPY THEY DID NOT CANCEL OUR TOUR THOUGH. PILOT WAS GOOD AND FLYING UNDER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE WAS VERY COOL, ALSO SEEING ALCATRAZ FROM THE AIR.

I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!! LINDA

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

Had a good time. Best part was when we dove down and went under the Golden Gate bridge. Only happens when the weather's good though. People were nice and had no problems. Pilot was polite and looked like he knew what he was doing.

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

AWESOME,AWESOME,AWESOME! This was the highlight of our trip:) We were picked up at the Hilton in Union Square at 10:00 am. Arrived at the airport approximately 1/2 hour later. We were brought right to the helicopter and the pilot was waiting for us. The helicopter itself was amazing:))) Leather bucket seats, cup holders, head phones with a microphone....totally cool....I felt like I was a movie star:) The flight itself was beautiful....we saw ALL of San Francisco, Alcatraz and most importantly flew UNDER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!! Yes, under the bridge....scary but, exciting at the same time. Loved the pilot....we wanted to do something later in the day and he told us about Coppola winery....OH MY GOSH!! This too is a must!!! Beautiful winery, terrific wine, fabulous food.....Would highly recommend taking the helicopter tour....It was worth every penny we spent!!! KUDOS !!!!!!

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

This tour is only good if you're sitting in a seat on the left of the helicopter. The helicopter goes around in a circle where most attractions the pilot points out, including the important Golden Gate Bridge, are on the left. What was most disappointing was that there were only two people including myself on the tour session, but the bus driver who did the hotel pick ups came along for the ride and sat in the front passenger seat. He should have not come along, or sat in the seat I sat in, allowing myself and the other person to have seats on the left. This dampened my experience as I felt I missed out and especially couldn't see much when the helicopter was approaching the Golden Gate Bridge and went under it, and also Alcatraz on the left. I also missed photo opportunities. Not worth your hard-earned money unless you get a seat on the left. Very disappointed. Also, the ride lasted only 20 mins.

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

This helicopter trip was amazing. We had been picked up as arranged and transported to the helipad. We were lucky enough to be the only passengers as others had cancelled and I was able to sit alongside, the pilot, Ron, who gave us a great commentary as we flew around the city. It was a pity that the Golden Gate Bridge was surrounded in the famous fog, but we were still able to fly underneath it, TWICE, the highlight of the tour. It was really great and well worth the extravagance!

Doing what: San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise

This was a great cruise, the boat was not crowded, it takes you aroiund the bay and under the golden gate bridge. Buffet food is sreved and they have live entertainment in the way of a guy with a guitar, who was pretty good. I would definately reccomend his trip, just make sure you have enough layers as although the day had been nice, it was quite breezy when i went, and i was rather cold and wish i had also taken my coat so that i could have spent more time outside.

Doing what: San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise

Great view of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz and of course the Golden Gate Bridge. Lovely sunset, despite poor weather during the day. Be aware that you need to wrap up warm if you like to be out on deck, although you can sit inside if you prefer. Very nice substantial buffet. Everything was very efficient. It's a great way to stand back and admire the view..

Doing what: San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise

We enjoyed our San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise and it was good value for money. You get to see a lot of sights as the sun sets, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island and San Francisco itself. The evening we went was a bit disappointing as it was really cold so it wasn't much fun out on deck, but we got some amazing photographs of the sights so it was worth it. The Golden Gate Bridge looked amazing when it was lit up at night, as did Alcatraz. The buffet that was supplied wasn't great, there were sandwiches and freshly baked cookies, but you had to get in there quick as as soon as the food was put out people queued up and filled their plates and after about half an hour there wasn't much left!!

Doing what: San Francisco Vista Grande Helicopter Tour

Wow...fantastic experience for me and my husband. I was our last day and really closed out our week. I will warn that the helicopter holds 6 people so somebody sits in front and one person sits in the middle (if there are 6 of you). My husband sat up front and he said it was the most amazing thing because it is just pure windows and you see all angles. Flying under the Golden Gate Bridge is a true experience and one that will not be forgotten. I would do it all over again if the opportunity came up.

Doing what: San Francisco Bay Sunset Cruise

Everything was fantastic from picking up our tickets to capturing the photo's of the sunset over Golden Gate Bridge. We were lucky that we were in San Francisco during a particularly hot period and the evening was perfect. There was plenty of food available and no long waits for food or drink. Would recommend for any visitors to SF.
