The tour guide was not particularly friendly but very knowledgeable throughout the city tour. Alcatraz was great. The audio guide was very easy to follow and the cruise ship staff very good at organising large numbers of people. Definitely recommend but book early as trips to Alcatraz were booked out for a week.

Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
This saved us a lot of time and hassle in San Francisco. Cable car fares are $6.00 per ride and this pass meant we could ride as often as we wanted, and also got around SFO on the metro buses as well. Pity it didn't include BART too.

one of the best days I had in san fran...what a special place in history..A must see.. walk the cells, hear all the stories, see the view and wonder why no one escaped..no ghosts but very interesting trip to the rock...city tour gave me the feeling of joy and what a special area in USA...Do this tour if you want to to see the real san fran...sit back and enjoy the trip I did ...

An outstanding way to see San Francisco. The group was led by Marie who took us through the safety briefing and on how to ride the Segway safely with humour and a "can do" attitude. She was friendly and as asset to her company. There were 5 in the group and off we went feeling safe and well looked after. Ample photo stops on our way round the city with the trip covering about 7.5 miles. Don't go to SFO without doing this activity.

Crew was very helpful and kind. Promptly left at 6 pm, great views until the fog rolled - but even then it was a unique view of the Golden Gate with the fog rolling in, foghorns blaring - very memorable experience. Will go again if I get the chance!

The tour was great. Our bus driver/tour guide, Greg, was just the best. We had a really great tour. My one issue is that for the Alcatraz part of the tour in the afternoon we had tickets for the 2:50 pm boat. By the time we arrived on the island and got started with the audio tour, it didn't leave us sufficient time to really see everything before we had to head back to the mainland to get the bus back to our hotel. So, we cut our visit to Alcatraz short and got back in time for the bus. Trying to give your clients earlier tickets for the boat would have been nice. Despite that, we had a great time and will use Viator again.
