This was a wonderful tour! Kathy, the tour guide,
was simply delightful. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the Castro and it was interesting to learn all about this neighborhood. If you are interested in learning about LGBTQ history, struggles, and successes, as well as getting a feel for the Castro neighborhood, this is the perfect tour.
Great tour. Tour director was great and very knowledgeable about the region. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about the area.
Wow - this really is the gay capital of the world. My eyes are still smarting from all the nakedness and men kissing. Wow.
This was a truly worthwhile activity. I learned so much about the history of the people and the area and the guide was just a hoot, with great anecdotes and the break at the pastry shop (Hot Cookie) was to die for.
We found it extremely informative, Kathy our tour guide was superb. It was one of our favorite excursions.
We absolutely loved this tour. Kathy was an amazing guide and she taught us so much about Castro. We are so glad we decided to do this tour because we learned things we would have never known had we just gone and visiting the Castro on our own. We also appreciated Kathy paying for us to go into a museum at the end of the tour. This tour ended up being one of our favorite parts of our San Francisco trip!
The walk was great. Kathy is knowledgable, personable and easy to tlak with. Def worth the trip if you are out for a nice stroll, some good company and an accurate histroical perspective and accounting
Excellent tour. One of the best I did whilst away. Guide is very knowledgeable of the area and history. She is funny, very personable. Very interested in her clients. Easy walking fun tour. Highly recommended.
if in Sanfrsancisco this is a tour you must do.The guide she was fantastic here knowledge re Harvey Milk excellent,She has great passion re gay and lesbian issues.Points out some great bars to go to and you even get a free cookie sample.So this is my 5 star tour so far and worth 2 hrs of your time.
What more can i say about this tour,Wether gay,straight or curious this is a great tour.The host was super awesome had great knowledge re area and some great bars to go to and worth checking out Harvey Milk see the dvd first but well worth 2 hrs of your time in San francisco and so easy to get to.Be sure to check out a place called hot cookie. Would do this tour again.THANK YOU TO MY HOST!
