Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
The best parts of this pass were the Bay cruise and the Cable Car. Ran out of time in San Francisco before I could take advantage of visiting all the other attractions. Still a good deal.

Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
CityPass is GREAT value. Access to 5 fantastic museums and unlimited use of public transportation. No need at all for rental car or taxis. All MUNI routes and schedules avail at all stops and online, and maps are avail at most hotels. Public transit is the only way to go in San Fran.

Skip the line is the most convenient way to get access to the academy!!!

Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
This was the easiest and most cost effective way to get around the city and also we saved heaps on the entry into the museums. The free one hour trip round the harbour in the Blue and Gold boat was just a delight. All round, a great buy.

Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
Recently went to SF in February 2013. The Exploratorium was closed (being moved). California Academy of Sciences was alright, Bay Cruise was lovely. Didn't really use any of the other tickets since we heard they weren't as good as MoMo in NY or the Aquarium in Chicago which we saw on the same trip.

Having to print a voucher, then stand in line to trade the voucher for a ticket, voided both the utility of a mobile application (if I had a printer, I wouldn't be on a mobile app) and the "skip the line" come-on (the only line at the door was the one to trade in Viator vouchers!)

Long queue avoided! Shame is was quite so busy inside but we did go over the holidays. I recommend skipping the line - you simply pick up your tickets from a small counter to the right, and there was just one person ahead of us in that line, compared to around 100 in the main line.

Wonderful day with grandchildren. We arrived early enough to miss the real crowds - show schedules worked well.

Doing what: San Francisco CityPass
This was a great asset to our trip, saving us money on many adventurers. Unfortunately, we did not get to use most of the coupons.

Was a wonderful place filled with lots of exhibits and things to see. I would definitely recommend it but some of the exhibits lacked quality and were a bit disappointing. There were lots of people too but if you take your time to see everything that won't be an issue. Food was very expensive.

Doing what: San Francisco Waterfront Segway Tour
tou was good, tour guide- ELi very good. ear piece equipment was awful. It was meant to be a tour and couldn't the guide half of the time as the earphone/ reciever failed to work.
Got an e-mail off Viator to change time of booking. Got to the venue and they didn't have us booked in for the slot, luckily they had two cancellations otherwise we wouldn't have been able to take part. This tour had been booked for months but we were disappointed by the organisation.
