Our tour guide was Andy through Extranomical Tours. He was very knowledgeable, fun, and laid-back. We arrived at Muir Woods before the crowds got there, which was nice so that we could peacefully enjoy the park. We went to 3 wineries in the Sonoma and Napa valleys. The first winery only offered 1 free wine to taste - had to pay for any other tastings. The second and third wineries let you try basically any wine that was available to buy. We ate lunch in the town of Sonoma, which has several good restaurants/eateries. On our way back to San Francisco, we stopped on a hill overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco - such a great view! Overall, it was great to experience a redwood forest and see what wine country in CA is all about! Nice day trip!

excellent, we were the first tour group at muir woods and the experience was breathtaking, the silence was beautiful, about half hour later the flood gates opened and then everyone ruined what was so perfect, the wineries were nice and our tour guide was very knowledgeable , overall worth every penny

Our guide, Mark, was very friendly and informative. He was also an excellent driver, which I think is very important on a trip like this. I had a great time and would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a day trip from San Francisco.

We loved our trip to Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour. Very scenic relaxing ride to get there. Mark was our tour guide and did a wonderful job, very funny and knowledgeable. We found it easy to book this tour and it was well organized. Mark was a pleasure and we had a very fun group.

Doing what: Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Tour

The highlight is the tour guide/bus driver, he entertained all during the drive with San Fran facts. The stops at wineries felt very rushed though and didn't leave much time for tasting.

Doing what: Napa and Sonoma Wine Country Tour

The driver was very knowledgeable and humerous. I enjoyed his tidbits of information. As for the tour itself, I felt as though I had experienced enough after seeing the first two wineries and did not need the visitt to the third one, especially given the size of the third one.

Country is beautiful. Sights to die for. Bus driver was not really in tune with tour. Stops and non-stops did not allow you time to appreciate the sights. 17 miles really not seen when you compare road covered and brochure provided.

A GREAT way to spend the day and see a spectacular park! The transportation was very comfortable and the knowledge that was shared by the Guide was outstanding...I feel that the entire experience was enhanced by all the information/history/facts regarding the park and many of the sights along the way. I would very much encourage anyone to take this trip with your company.

A good day out with lots to see, especially the Golden Gate Bridge and the Muir Woods were just great to walk through. Good driver and very interesting.

Only fault I found was a bit disorganised on the early morning pickups people were late slept in it was a total time wasting exercise but once we got going the day was magnificent and although long well worth it the driver was a good driver and seemed quite uptodate with information.

Wonderful experience! Bus pick up was prompt, and a time schedule was adhered to, without feeling rushed. It was very relaxing, knowing we did not have to worry about parking- which is a major concern and cost - in any "tourist" area. I highly recommend that you take this tour if you find yourself in San Francisco and want to see these sites.

Loved the scenery, trees were amazing. Our guide Andy, was superb, entertaining and knew his history.Full day ,but worth it. Owen McCarter

We loved the scenery to get to the Napa Valley,we were disappointed to realise we had to pay at three of the four wineries. We thought it was all included, Owen McCarter

Excellent tour. Informative. Entertaining. Both Muir Woods, the wine and Mark - our tour guide.
Don´t miss it if your´re doing any sightseeing.
