The tour was OK. The drive was LONG (3 hours) and the vehicle was very small and completely full. There was no restroom in the van. The van was old and it rattled--made a lot of noise. Seats were uncomfortable. The volcano (which didn't do anything but smoke---and hasn't done in 2 1/2 years according to the tour guide) wasn't anything spectacular. The landscape where we stopped to take pictures was beautiful, but at the end of the day, the volcano was just a mountain. The visit to the hot springs resort was well worth it. Very relaxing. Beautiful resort. Definitely the highlight of the trip. My one draw back was that the water wasn't very hot. The day wasn't very hot, so the waters were pretty luke warm. The food (lunch and dinner) was very good. Tour guide was knowledgeable.

Very nice tour, would recommend to anyone. The thermal spring resort was beautiful. Beautiful view of volcano. Beware of slide.

Doing what: Sarapiqui Canopy and Rainforest Day Tour

Overall, good tour, but felt rushed when eating meals. Just felt rushed altogether.

This was a fantastic trip! I had arrived in Costa Rica the night before so this was a great way to get introduced to the country.

The best part of the day was going to the La Paz waterfalls and seeing not only the waterfalls, but the animal sanctuary. I've done a lot of Viator tours before and this was one of my favorites.

Doing what: Tortuguero National Park

This trip should not be done in one day! Too much traveling time for too little sightseeing. The trip includes 4 hours by bus, then 2 hours by boat (can see monkeys and birds on the way) to arrive Tortuguero. Then a good buffet lunch is served, a fast walk in Tortuguero town and another 6 hours of trip back to San Jose.

Excellent tour! La paz and Poas were my favorite, though Dokka was interesting...

Breath taking views ...Several georgeous hot springs...this place is beautiful and the views from the volcano are awe inspiring..If you go toCosta rica you must visit Arenal!

Tour was good but everyone should be advised to (or given) water to carry especially in the high altitude on the volcano!

Very fun but lots of climbing so be prepared for a work out good food and the boat ride is fun you get to see all kinds of animals even the snakes and butterflys are awesome

Brilliant tour. Great guide, ok breakfast, brilliant lunch, and some amazing sites. And we were lucky enough to see Poas on a clear day :)

Excellent!
Thank you !!!

This tour is not marketed well at all. If your goal is to sit on a bus for 7-8 hours and see the hot springs for 2-3, you'll be pleased. But if you are going to see a volcano, skip over this one.
