We thoroughly enjoyed our El Yunque tour. Our tour guide, Tony, was not only highly knowledgeable about the rain forest (he lives there), but he was also a treasure trove of knowledge about Puerto Rican history and culture. We got a great experience without feeling like we were on just another show for the tourists, and that’s hard to pull off anywhere. We’ll definitely recommend this tour to our friends who visit Puerto Rico!
We're planning to go back and take the full day tour! This was too short, stopped at La Coca Falls and Yokahu Tower. It would have been nice to stop at the Visitors Center but we drove through the parking lot thinking we would stop but nope! Someone asked what was the building and guide said the Visitor Center. Description of tour said "hike" and the hike was through the forest from the side of the road, hiked for about less than 1/4 of a mile total, saw a praying mantis and that was that! Guide pointed other areas of interests throughout the tour but said for "your next vacation." Guide was so knowledgeable but again, wished we had taken a full day!
The rainforest is beautiful. In fact, it was surprisingly so. But, the guide was fantastic. Tony is knowledgeable, funny, and thoughtful.
One of our favorite tours we've been on. Very personable and knowledgeable; didn't treat us like "just an average tourist". Loved learning the history and background on San Juan. Beautiful rainforest.
Loved this tour! Tony, our tour guide, was the best. Throughout the day he told us tons of information about PR in general and the rain forest. We made a couple stops in the forest for pictures and "hiked" one trail, but it was not a difficult trail at all. The forest is beautiful, but don't expect to see much wildlife beyond some geckos. If I ever go back to Puerto Rico I will absolutely to back to El Yunque.
Ricky was a delightful guide who answered all of our questions and is a great ambassador for Puerto Rico.
The half day tour was perfect for us (my husband had knee replacement surgery a year ago) it was not a difficult hike/walk at all.
The kids had a lot of fun and learned alot as well.

My wife and I did the 1/2 day Rainforest tour during a quick escape 4-day weekend trip to San Juan. For us, it was an ideal tour. Tony, our driver and tour guide, did a great job! He was very personable, entertaining, and knowledgeable of the rainforest.
This tour offers an introduction of the park, highlighting some of the more easy-to-access attractions. If you're an outdoor adventurer or Survivor wannabee it may not be for you, but for us it was a perfect way to get out of San Juan city for a day and see some of the beauty of the island. If you're in San Juan for a long weekend, and especially if you're a first time visitor to Puerto Rico, I'd highly recommend the tour!

amaing places ! rainforest that takes your breath away, landscapes and perfect views. The beach was ok , i bet u can find better ones in Puerto Rico, though.

After arriving in Puerto Rico on March 17th I had our hotel manager called to confirm place of pick up. It was confirmed. The next day we waited for one hour and the bus never
picked us up. When I called to find out where they were they said that they had gone to another location to pick us up. We wasted our entire morning waiting. They did accommodate us the next day and picked us us on time. The trip was just ok. We could not understand the tour guide and did not find him that knowledgeable. We did not see that much of the rainforest. We were stuck in traffic on the way back for 1 1/2 hours in a very hot van. Disappointed in the trip.
Awesome!!! We enjoyed the tour, especially the beautiful waterfalls. Well worth the reasonable price and our guide Josh was great!!! Suggested dining options and helped my husband find a fishing trip.
