Doing what: Self Drive One Day Grand Canyon White Water Rafting Tour
This rates as one of the most exciting/fun things I have ever done with my family!! Our Hualapai boat guides were awesome, and took us to some very special places, sharing with us many stories from their tribal history. Warning: you will get soaked to the bone over and over again ... it was so fun and exhilarating. You cannot say you have seen the Grand Canyon until you have done this. I hope do it again someday.

Doing what: Grand Canyon and Navajo Indian Reservation
I recommend this trip to everyone who looks for a short, but effective trip to Grand Canyon and the surrounding areas. By short trip, I mean a full-day tour, but it surely does not seem enough and you'll want to come back! Our guide was very knowledgeable, approachable, with a good sense of humour and we all had a great time. Prepare your hiking/comfortable shoes, sunglasses, hat, camera and enjoy!

My sister and I had a wonderful time. The train was comfortable and the company was fun. The food was delicious and the tour, after the train ride, was informative as well as spectacular! Thank you for our adventure!!

Doing what: Grand Canyon and Navajo Indian Reservation
Very good and informative. The guide was excellent. Not speaking about the Grand Canyon itself! I would like to spend more time in Indian reservation though - not only shopping, but also looking how they live there...

Doing what: Grand Canyon South Rim Day Trip from Sedona
Excellent way to see the Grand Canyon from various viewpoints. The train trip option was fun, but slow, even with the occasional entertainment. A good way to see the area though. Our tour guide, Joe, is a geology buff and was extremely knowledgeable about how the entire area from Sedona to the South Rim came into existence and how it evolved over the several millions of years. Very educational, and a great way to spend a full day.

The train ride was a little bit too long. The staff was fabulous and extremely helpful. The enertainment on the train was good. All in all it was an enjoyable experience

The railroad was a nice trip, we took the bus tour and that was very informative and our driver was great, the downside was the buffet luncheon that was served I think the rolls and the whole thing was last weeks food, it stunk!!!

Great trip! Grand Canyon was awesome and the guide very helpful. But we didn't get much time in the so-called Navajo Indian Reservation, it was just a trading post?

Overall a great time. The hostess on the train (Katie) was very friendly, provided terrific service and made the experience a lot of fun. The wild west show and the train robbery were a little hokey but they were fun for the kids (we didn't have any kids with us, but other people's kids seemed to enjoy these features). The guide on the bus (Wendy) was good, but the bus tour felt a bit rushed (not Wendy's fault). The buffet lunch at the Mazwik (sp?) was nothing special - we would give the lunch only 2 stars. Because the train is limited to a speed of 40 mph, it takes over 2 hours to travel between Williams and Grand Canyon Village. It would be really nice if there was an option to take the train one way and a bus in the other direction. This would reduce travel time and would allow guests to spend more time at the Canyon. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to others but it's not the kind of thing we would do more than once.

The train ride was interesting. I don't think we really had enough time at the Canyon though. The Railway staff personnel were wonderful and tried to make the ride feel as short as possible

I've been fortunate to visit the South Rim on several occasions. By far, the Grand Canyon Railway experience was the most relaxing. We loved the natural beauty of sightseeing from the train and had plenty of time to enjoy a walk along the S. Rim at the Grand Canyon. The staff aboard the train was entertaining and very attentive. We would recommend this tour and do it again!

The staff aboard the train kept us entertained to/from the Canyon. We couldn't believe how fast the day went by. We also loved the quaint town of Williams - very friendly people We are looking forward to our next trip!
