I went to Shanghai for a conference and had one day free day to check out some other cities. Xi'an was my first choice because of those Terracotta warriors. The day turned out to be perfect! My guide was very fun and informative. Food was great! Highly recommended if you are on a tight schedule.

Tour guide was excellent as well as the lunch. I'd have enjoyed this tour more if it didn't include stops at Pearl and Silk shops.

Zhouzhuang is a 'must' but Suzhou was disappointing.Zhouzhuang is one of the most beautiful places i've been in China.Suzhou gardens were nothing special, the Yu garden in Shanghai is similar. The lunch was fabulous, and our guide and driver were really nice too.If you want to do something special outside of Shanghai choose a half-day tour to Zhouzhuang only...

Hangzhou is a beautiful city, the lake is fabulous. It turned out to be a private tour, the car was luxurious, the guide and driver ok (nothing special). It is a long journey from Shanghai. I would prefer if the Felai Peak could be part of the tour, since it takes so much time to go in Hangzhou. The lunch was poor with no variety (the worst meal we had in China). The tea plantation is interesting, but too expensive (40 euros for a few gramars) and the employers a little 'pushy'.

We have just returned for a 10 day holiday in Shanghai and Beijing. The tour was fantastic. Their was only two other people on the tour, very personal and very knowlegeable guide. The only down side was the Length of Time, We were picked up at 0600 and did not return to the hotel until 0030 at night (No Delays) a very long day the tours could be shortened even allowing us to get the 1900 flight instead of the 2130. Overall worth seeing and worth the money. Thanks Viator

This was an excellent tour for us because we only had one day. It was a long day but well worth it. If we could have been booked on an earlier return flight it would have been perfect!!!

This was a tranquil spot and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was nice to see countryside and Fiona our guide was excellent. We were taken to a silk factory but there was no pressure to buy. Seeing the actual silkworms was also interesting.

Frank always seemed to want to go away ... he walked faster than us. He didn't bother to get us the senior discount at the Shanghai World Financial Center, which we didn't really want to see. He also wanted to go to the Auto Salon which had no interest for us. Worth it only if you have seen nothing of Shanghai yet, which was not the case with us, as we'd been there for two days and had already seen about all he wanted us to see ...

More expensive than taxi. Most of the earphone connectors in the buses do not work.

Pre-tour communication was excellent with prompt emails and instructions.. However buses did not seem to run to time when hopping off briefly and then waiting to hop on the next bus on the same route (understand traffic issues in Shanghai). Connnections between the 3 routes were difficult to understand when the next bus would be due (if on time) as they all ran at different frequencies. The result was we spent quite a bit of time just waiting for the next bus (sometimes up to an hour). There is also no seating at any of the stops and generally no shade so we were standing in 35 degree heat. At one stage, an employee who arrived at the wharf stop gave us directions and suggested we walk 10 mins to the next stop which we did. We did this on a couple of occasions and don't mind the walking but it's a shame to miss the audio commentary on the bus which is part of the experience we bought. On 3 occasions, we also had to change seats as the audio connections did not work. This service could be improved if they handed out timetables with the expected times of arrival at each stop for each route. At least you could plan your stops better and know when the next bus is due.

We had a lovely lady walk us through the streets of Shanghai in the pouring rain, bless her. She spoke very good English and was very informative, wishing to please us at all times. I would recommend this little tour to get away from the bright lights and bustle of the city, and inevitably there was a fair amount of walking involved, so be prepared. Thank you.

Both places a good to visit with the water town Zhouzhuang best part. Would be even better with more time to explore on your own without the guide.
