Very nice trip, beautiful beautiful beautiful. Snorkeling was fantastic, very nice staff at the boat, well trained and was looking after us all the time. Food reasonable, drinks just a few bottles of coke and water in the fridge. But this experience is not about the food at the end. A bit dissapointed with picking up from the hotel, we were picked up first and had to travel all around while they pick up other people. And once we arrived the guy who picked us up just jumped from the car and we never saw him again. I was expecting some instructions from him like where I have to wait or who will pick us up, but no, you have to go and find it our for yourself. So for the money payed I would expect a bit more attention to the customer from a different country.
Driver picked my family of four up on time, drove us to a local hotel and had a professional staff member walk us through the hotel property to the Naama Bay Beach for the glass bottom boat ride. The kids loved seeing the local coral reefs, parrot fish, "Nemo" fish, etc... This is perfect for small children and very safe. The staff were friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this cruise to anyone. Good value for money and Viator's rates were a little less than what tour reps wanted at the hotels. Book with confidence.
Extremely fun. The guides put safety first. Did it during sunset but I believe it would have been a better view at sunrise. Either way I would do it again; it's a good deal.
An amazing experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable Egyptologist and Bedouin guides. The great advantage to a private tour is being able to ask questions and gain information that you possibly wouldn't ask on a 'group' tour. I went up the first part of Moses' Mountain by camel (an hour and a half on a camel is a LONG time - I literally couldn't feel my legs when I had to get off it again!) I recommend wearing long trousers - not just knee length shorts as I did! Then there are 750 'steps' to climb - very sandy and can be slidy - particularly when going up at night. We had a gorgeous moonlit night an the starts were amazing! At 4.45am we reached the summit and it was COLD!! Sunrise was 5am and it was as though someone had instantly turned on the heat - and WHAT a sight! Wouldn't have missed it for the world - worth all the exersion of getting to the top!! As you're climbing pretty much all night you are exhausted by the time you reach the bottom of the mountain again (unless I'm more unfit than I think!) and I was half falling asleep over breakfast at St Catherine's monastery. Bring a sarong or something to cover your legs if not wearing long trousers - if you don't have one, they'll supply a sheet type thing, but you must wear it! All in all the trip was WELL worth the price and effort - a real 'once in a lifetime' experience! I loved it and can't say enough about the Egyptologist and the Bedouin guide, they were fantastic - and both spoke fanstastic English! A brilliant trip by Viator - would definitely book excursions through them again!
This was the second time I have done this tour with Viator, and sadly the 1st time was much better. Although this tour was still enjoyable it was heavily let down by the guide who had come along with us. During my previous camel safari, the guide had stayed with us at all times and gave us more information about the Bedoins and their lifestyle than I could have imagined there was to know. However the second time I got a guide who was more interested in talking to the other guides and his Bedoin friends than giving us any information. This wasn't so bad for me as it was my second time on this tour and the previous guide had been so good, however my Fiance hadn't done this tour before so for him this was even more disappointing. At times our guide was no-where in sight which was a little disconcerting. Sadly after this second experience I probably would not recommend this tour to other people as it has gone downhill from where it was a year ago.
It was not very clear that tourist can't land on the Island. Anyway, I did not touch water, so I was only an spectator on the boat.

Fabulous day, very attentive staff and good lunch. As a novice snorkeller I was given all the assistance required. What could be better than a day snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing under the Egyptian sun.
worst excursion ever the people are rude and have no respect for women
i paid for 2 quadbikes and only got given 1 to share!
A must do for anyone who likes looking beyond the hotels, clubs and beaches, it was so good we did it twice. Sunrise over the Red Sea was breathtaking and the trip further into the mountains the following day was even better. Karim our guide ensured we were always well looked after and knew some fascinating locations to stop and take in the scenery. Never a dull moment and the whole team were great so many thanks to everyone; Tim, Janet ,and the boys who provide the support, it was a great experience. We have been Quad Biking before in Luxor and this time it was even better.
Excellent service, whisked through the airport like a VIP and in the hotel room 20 minutes later. second time used and will be using them again.
Brilliant. I purchased this as a suprise for my girlfriends birthday whilst we were on holiday. Apart from the pick up time being earlier than expected everything went exactly as advertised. Due to the time of year there were only the two of us and the guide who was really good. Very chatty, polite and friendly. Pick up from our hotel was easily arranged and was bang on time. I was initially a bit dubious about making a booking in the uk for an excursion in Egypt and expected all sorts of issues. I was very pleasantly suprised. Very well organised and professional outfit. I will
definitely use Viator again in the future.
