Yep, Egypt is all about the desert. And how much fun can you have in a desert? Stacks! First, take the family quad biking across the Sinai desert for the ultimate adventure. Ride across the sands at sunrise or sunset, when the amazing colors of the desert are revealed in all their glory.
And what do you immediately associate with an Egyptian desert? Camels. Picture yourself on a camel in the afternoon sun…take a private camel safari, with an authentic Bedouin dinner to top it off and you'll really be in an Egypt state of mind.
Want to test your fitness out in the desert? How about a four-wheel drive jeep safari followed by a hike through the spectacular colored canyons? Let your 4WD vehicle take you across the 240 kms (150 mi) of desert sands to Abu Galum and the colored canyons, where you'll hike among the rocky mountains and rock formations enjoying the many colors reflecting from the oxidized surfaces in the sun. (This one's for the super-fit, so be warned!)
If you're looking for a buffet of desert activities, perhaps a 12-hour private tour will tick all the boxes. In one neat itinerary, you can take a jeep safari across the desert (keep your eyes open for the local wildlife, including Nubian ibex, red foxes and striped hyenas), snorkel the reef gardens of the Blue Hole, ride a camel, and go bargain shopping in the traditional Bedouin village of Dahab, all on a private day trip from Sharm el Sheikh. If you're on limited time, this is the relaxing day tour you are looking for, and a perfect choice for families.

Extremely fun. The guides put safety first. Did it during sunset but I believe it would have been a better view at sunrise. Either way I would do it again; it's a good deal.

Sunrise over the Red Sea was breathtaking and the trip further into the mountains the following day was even better. Karim our guide ensured we were always well looked after and knew some fascinating locations to stop and take in the scenery. Never a dull moment and the whole team were great so many thanks to everyone; Tim, Janet ,and the boys who provide the support, it was a great experience. We have been Quad Biking before in Luxor and this time it was even better.
