Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour

A shame the old Changi Prison is still not there to see - tour guide very knowledgable

I enjoyed this, especially liked the Changi war museum. Learned quite a bit - were on the bus quite a bit. The Haw Par Villa is interesting - I thought we had the right amt of time there.

Good trip to get an overview of the island. Morning stops didn't quite fill the morning, so guide added a stop at a hydroponic farm, which we really enjoyed try the lettuce juice! However, the lunch, in a room full of tourists, was only average, which considering the usually amazing food in Singapore is a crime. Warning - if you're not interested in Singapore's involvement in WWII this may not be the tour for you. The morning has a stop in a military cometary and the afternoon has a lengthy stop at Changi Chapel and Museum.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour

We thought the tour guide was great-but would have liked more time at Changi Memorial itself. Her knowledge was definitely good.

I would have liked to spend more time at the Changi Chapel.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour

Our tour guide was a fountain of knowledge and made the trip very personal and memorable for us. It's really worth the trip to Changi. We took the MRT our there, which was really easy.

The trip to Changi Village was nice and the museum interesting with important information to know as part of the history of Singapore. Best for the history enthusiasts as the war history of Singapore is sad.

We enjoyed the tour to Changi but thought we would be seeing more of the coastal area around Changi instead of apartment blocks and shops etc. so were a little disappointed.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour

The guide was very knowledgeable but the microphone was not working on the bus and my husband is a little hard of hearing so he missed most of the commentary. The chapel and museum were very good but I thought the tunnel and 15 inch gun stop was a complete waste of time with very little there to see. More time spent at the massacre site at Changi Village would have been better for us. The tour was running late by the time we got to Changi Village so our time was limited. Overall it was very interesting but I do think a war cemetery or the like should be included.

Doing what: Changi Village, Chapel and Museum Half-Day Tour from Singapore

Great if you've got a real interest in the history of Changi prison otherwise not much else of interest on this trip.

This was an emotional trip for me as my Father was a prisoner in Changi. I was not sure what to expect but felt something was missing and not sure what - sorry. Tour Guide very informative and pleasant.

The Changi trip was very informative and was really moving, but we could have done without the Haw Par Villa. Would have been better to spend this time, actually stopping at the landing site, or being able to get out of the bus to take photos of the prison. Our guide was extremely informative.

A dissapointing tour. As adecendant of a POW held in Changi I expected to be able to see the inside of the prison and chapel. In the tour notes it should state the situation as it is today.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour

Sadly the Changi Chapel is no longer but there is a faithfull replica to visit, the strong emotions experienced by those fortunate to visit the original Chapel cannot be reproduced at the replica. It is sad that some custodians of history do not know what they are custodians of.

Doing what: Changi Village, Chapel and Museum Half-Day Tour from Singapore

If you enjoy a bus trip, this one is for you. The Changi Museum is interesting, though disturbing.
