A good introduction to Singaoppre - we had arrived that morning on the Diamond Princess so weren't suffering from jetlag like some on our bus. The Singapore Flyer was fantastic - don't miss it and don't forget your camera. My mother is afraid of heights but had no qualms about going on the flyer. Didn't really enjoy Little India though it was Sunday afternoon so was possibly more crowded than usual. All in all a good tour.
Our tour guide Maggie was great, funny and very informative about life in Singapore. The tour gave you a good overview of the city and the areas you might like to revisit with more time. Only suggestion would to be to eliminate the stop altogether at the precious rock shop and give more time to the gardens which were amazing or Little India or China town.
A very interesting tour and our guide was both informative and amusing. The Orchid Garden was worth seeing . The Indian quarter was the least interesting part of the tour. Again very well organised
Not as good as expected from reading previous reviews. The tour started late. The tour guide was not interactive with the tourists only talking to us on the bus but not explaining sights when off the bus. We were only given a very stressful brief time to see each area and then it seemed to take ages to get back to the flyer. My suggestion in order to visit the sights seen is to skip Little India and the gem place and have more time at Marina Bay and the Botanical gardens. Too much was crammed into a few hours.

TOUR GUIDE WAS GOOD STOPS AT CHINA TOWN AND LITTLE INDIA VERY ORDINARY AND GEM FACTORY STOP UNNECESSARY. AS A TRAVEL AGENT I WILL NOT SELL THE TOURI
covers most of the tourist spots in singapore. i wish more time was spent in chinatown and little india
A superb view from the flyer and would be truly magnificent on a clear day. A good tour but personally I would miss Little India.
Pick up from hotel was on time. We were all taken to tour bus at Singapore Flyer. Guide gave plenty of information. Only part of tour we did not enjoy was Little India but that is because we see that sort of area where we live. Rest of tour was very good.
I was dissappointed with this tour as having been on a city tour in New York with viator I had high hopes. Our tour guide was not very animated and seemed to struggle to find anything intested to tell us and therefore took to telling us where schools were or nursing homes. we started the tour in a park to see a famous lion statue which had actually been moved so was not there, we then went to a temple which was quite small followed by botanical gardens where you had to pay extra to see the orchid garden. we were then dropped n little india and told to c ome back to the bus in 30 mins if we wanted a lift back to our hotel. Singapore is limited for things to see but this was not a guided tour as we were left to our own devices as soon as we got off the bus
It wasn't the best tour.
We didn't visit Chinatown, we just stop in ONE temple in 15 minutes.
We didn't visit Little India, we had 10 minutes to walk ONE block.
We stopped in some gem shop, more pushy to buy than an interesting place to visit. It wasn't mention inthe tour as far as I remember.
The guide wasn't very nice and she dind't provide much infirmation about Singapore. Everyone by themselves
The Singapore city tour was a good way finishing learning about Singapore after I had done the round island tour. I found tour guide to be again, friendly and helpful. I did have a little waiting at the start of the tour, as it seemed guides were either waiting for other buses to arrive or not sure what was going on. I found it was good to spend some time at certain area's e.g. little india, but would have like to spend some time in chinatown, not just driving through it. The flyer was another good way of seeing Singapore from a different area. However it would have been good to have had some sort of information on hand inside the pod to know what I was looking at (building names). The food places around the flyer I found gave another great choice of Asian food with good variety
Orchid gardens, the temple and Little India was great. Lots to learn and great food too.
Marie was good guide
From booking the tour to being dropped off after the tour finished was great. I was collected from my hotel without any problems and the tour started when promised. The tour and tour guide was very informative and I learnt a lot about Singapore that I never knew before. We visited some great places and I believe that I wouldn't have seen the places if I wasn't on the tour. The tour was changed slightly because of the Formula 1 event but I was told about this during booking and by the tour guide. We visited several different points of interest in the city and at each of the stops we were told information about each. On the way to the stops we were also told information about Singapore which was very interesting. I was going on somewhere else after the tour so I was dropped off in Little India. The tour guide directed me to the place that I was visiting after the tour which was very helpful. This was one of the best tours that I have been on and I will be booking a tour through Viator in the future.
Not what I expected. We did not see a lot of interesting places and if we stopped time was also very limited (like 15 minutes in Little India). The Flyer was very good and definitely something worth doing.
