Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
My husband and I were a little disappointed with this tour, didn't see as much as we would have liked, the syop at a gem store felt like one big sell, the stop in Little India was rather frightening, so much so that we got back on the bus. Too many men standing around staring at us.

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
Good in parts. The guide was OK, but the visit to the craft centre was awful and a waste of valuable time. Much better to have had this time at the Botanic Gardens, for example. Also too much time in Little India. The tour did not even include the sight of Raffles Hotel!

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
The Chinatown sector would have been better if there was some time for shopping. The timing of the City Tour is too tight. 45 minutes for the botanical garden was not enough! The tour guide lady talked too much - would not have been an issue if her talking time was out of the tour time but it was! She talked for 15 minutes and we were left with only 45 min. for the garden tour. Same in the Chinese temple - she talked for 20 min. and gave us only 10 min. for the temple tour. Little India was also not cool because it rained hard and there were no umbrellas in the tour bus, so we were stuck in one store and had to run back to the bus soaked in rainwater.

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
The Singapore Flyer was excellent, and I would recommend definitely doing this, but don't bother with the city tour. The tour guide was really difficult to understand because of his accent, and he talked too fast. Most of the stops were too short to actually explore anything, i.e., Little India was 10 minutes, and the tour guide convinced most people to eat a spring roll there - no time to explore the streets. Of course the obligatory jewelry store stop was close to 40 minutes long! The orchid garden was nice, but you can see that on your own. In summary - do the Singapore Flyer, you'll get to see a lot of the city, but skip the city tour and do places on your own since taxis are relatively cheap.

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
The guide was really nice but the trip was a bit rushed. The gem factory was a bit pointless as the factory was costed so we were just taken straight to the sales room. It was really enjoyable seeing the market in Little India but there was no time to buy anything. An ok trip if you are limited for time.

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
Fair amount of time was wasted in Little India just walking up and down the street with no real purpose.

Doing what: Singapore City Tour with optional Singapore Flyer
Not as good as expected from reading previous reviews. The tour started late. The tour guide was not interactive with the tourists only talking to us on the bus but not explaining sights when off the bus. We were only given a very stressful brief time to see each area and then it seemed to take ages to get back to the flyer. My suggestion in order to visit the sights seen is to skip Little India and the gem place and have more time at Marina Bay and the Botanical gardens. Too much was crammed into a few hours.
