Doing what: Singapore City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
Great way to see all the tourist stuff. Covered a lot in one day and then there was more the next day. We could go again for free. Thank you Viator! No wait there was more, we also had a free night tour down Orchard Road to see all the Christmas lights. Doesn't get any better!

Doing what: Singapore City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
We found the routes to be well thought out and informative. We saw the Botanical Gardens, little India, the Mosque, the Chinese quarter, Raffles, the Merlion, the Singapore Flyer, the malls on Orchard, and many other sites as well. Our only complaint was that we ended up stranded at the "hub station" for over an hour when both buses went to lunch at the same time. We lost an hour of touring time, something that could have been avoided if the driver's lunch times had been staggered.

Expensive shopping district, brand names on Orchard Road which is roughly 15mins from the Airport. A lot of stores to chose from. Food courts with cheap food. There's also light entertainment ion the malls video arcades and movies theatre.

Doing what: Singapore City Hop-on Hop-off Tour
The Hop-on Hoff-off tour was an excellent way to gain an insight into the various areas of Singapore. Unfortunately, even though we had purchased tickets through Viator over the internet we were still required to get off the bus on Orchard Rd and sort out passes etc. Also the downloaded maps were out of date and the bus routes had changed. We also felt like it was more of a Hop-On and stay on bus as the drivers raced past the various bus stops and didn't stop unless someone had risen from their seat and indicated that they wished to alight. We weren't entirely confident that the bus would pick us up from a stop along the way should we have got off during the tour. Commentary was good but a little repetiitive over the various routes. Had also chosen this tour as Songs of the Sea was included (you needed to buy your own ticket to SOS) however, when I attempted to book I was told that it was no longer included and it would cost an extra $9 (plus SOS ticket) to do tour. We paid the extra and enjoyed the tour but felt ripped off as information on Viator site had indicated that it was included.
