Starting with a cable car ride across to Sentosa Island this tour was a lot of fun. Our guide organised what time we were to meet her after taking us to a selection of attractions and all ran like clockwork (except for a family with 2 young children who didn't meet us at the nominated time necessitating her taking us on the monorail to the Symphony of the Sea and then going back to find them). I naively volunteered at the Pink dolphin and Sealion show to feed the dolphins and do tricks with them. I was in the pool fully clothed and up to my neck in water but wouldn't have missed the experience. I quickly dried out in the Singapore heat and for the rest of the afternoon I had people from every country coming up to say hello to 'Bruce from Australia'. There is a lot to see on Sentosa so if you have plenty of time I would recommend either staying there all day or doing it over a couple of days. It was just enough time for our group (aged 53, 61 and 79) and we slept very well that night. The Viator guides are top notch and very professional.
Amazing views from the cable car over to Sentosa island. Fish aquarium stunning - you walked underneath in a tunnel and viewed every species possible. Then on to a pink dolphiin show which was ok thought the dolphins could have performed more and the sea lions did more tricks. On to the memoirs of WW2 which was ok more for children than adults. After a short break the highlight of the tour was the spectacular show songs of the sea - stunning fireworks and water laser effects. Altogether a good tour.
Trip was worthwhile, get to see plenty of things but you need quite a lot more money to do the extra options. Sentosa is a big area, so an extra day is advised
great tour and awesome tour guide!!! Songs of the Sea performance is breath taking, as is the whole of Sentosa Island!
Our guide Ms.Boon was very kind and nice. She made this trip very enjoyable. Attractions of Sentosa were not so outstanding. But she gave us very comfortable time. Thank you very much.
We were not picked up the day we booked the trip for. We were told to wait at the main lobby by the local agent that we needed to call to confirm our pickup. After not seeing anyone we called and was told that the driver came, didn't see anyone then left. They rebooked us for the next day. We asked if that was the correct location since there was also a side entrance for the hotel. We were told to wait at the same place again - the main lobby. Luckily this day the driver looked harder for us. As we were sitting and waiting for about 35 mins he showed up behind us. Just like we thought he came to the side entrance. Since our hotel concierge was so involved the previous day and spoke to the local tour guide herself, she was looking out for us and saw him at the side entrance. The tour office workers are disconnected with what the drivers are doing. They told us where to wait and it was no where the driver came to pick us up. Sentosa Island was chaotic. There were tons of people everywhere. Supposedly all of the school children were on vacation for the December Holiday season. Long lines everywhere. The 3D movie was very cool. That was the best part of the experience. The Dolphin show was full 1 hour before showtime.
Covers several main attractions on Sentosa but there are lots of others so, either combine this with the morning tour or make a return visit to see the rest. Light show is great but crowded, and this guided tour is the only way to see it unless you know your way back to your hotel through the crowds at night. Museum is also excellent and you may not have enough time. Try to add the sky tower ride as it gives a different perspective on the island.
We had been to Universal Studios the day before and on the Orang Utan breakfast tour the morning before, so we were already pooped by the time we went on this tour. Enjoyed the Cable ride over the strait to Sentosa. Enjoyed the aquarium and dolphin visit. We did the museum then bailed. Tour guide very business like and helpful, she was great, told us how to get back to Vivo City so we could get back to the hotel. Did not finish the tour because we were pooped, but what we did experience we enjoyed. Thanks Maggie you were great.
Fantastic trip, loved Sentosa island and would love to go back. Wish we had spent the whole day there rather than just the afternoon! The evening show was very enjoyable too.
The only redeeming thing here was the Songs of the Sea which was amazing. DO NOT do this tour. Go to Sentosa separately and see these things for yourself. You only get HALF AN HOUR at Underwater World which allows you to watch the pink dolphin show and nothing else. I felt like I really wasted my money here. We had to literally run through the museum as we didn't get time to stop and look at even just one of the displays, we had to sprint through the exhibits just to get out the door on time. Timing on this tour is greatly affected by how late everyone is so we lost over an hour of being stuffed around by arrogant tourists. I wish I had asked for my money back. The Songs of the Sea however is a must see, but you can arrange to go to Sentosa by yourself anyway so I would recommend that.
The Sentosa experience in and of itself is great. The tour was well conducted and managed by the guide. That said, it could have been more time-efficient and thus covered few more shows / rides. Also, even as it makes good use of Blue / Red line buses, it should consider using the air-train as well, esp Imbiah Lookout to Song of the Sea destination
Trip good. If you stay for the 'Sounds of the Seas' show in the evening you will be blown away. It is fantastic. Best part of the trip to Sentosa!
A good taste of Sentosa Island - really need a full day there to see everything. Light show on beach was amazing.
Great transport service, great organisation, but no info at all was given by the guide: what is Sentosa, when it was constructed, NOTHING! very boring trip.
