Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Food Tour

If you get a chance to do this tour, take it. My son and I were the only people on this tour so we got a very personal tour. We discovered the food and history of China Town, This was so interesting and very well presented by our tour guide. We had a taste of different breakfast foods eaten by the local Chinese community. These were so tasty. Our guide introduced us to a few of his friends along the tour, so we really had a very personal touch to our tour. As there was only the 2 of us on this tour, we were able to spend a little longer talking to the locals with our tour guide. Our guide showed us so much history from Chinatown it was fantastic. This was a short tour of an hour and a half or so but we learnt so much.

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

We laughed the whole night. Got our fans with our names written on them in Chinese, had dinner at Chinatown which was very nice, had a walk around the Chinatown shops and then piled into our 25 Trishaws. With horns beeping and road rage in our blood we headed one after another onto the highway on our way to Clarke Quay. It was a bit like a Formula 1 race but we laughed and laughed. Great tour.

Great night out! Chinatown, dinner, trishaw and boat trip were all very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

I enjoyed the Night tour in Chinatown. The meal was good, we had some time to browse the shops and got to see a bit of the city by night. When you're in Singapore everyone should really take a Trishaw ride.

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

What a great fun night out. Trishaw night tour was fab! There were about six trishaws and we were all competing with each other to get to the restaurant faster than the other one! The meal in Chinatown was excellent - starters, 3 mains to choose from - a vegetarian, chicken and beef dinners. Then on to the boat ride round the harbour - excellent - stunning at night with all the buildings lit up. Well worth it.

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

This was an excellent tour. The size of the group was just right, the meal in a somewhat obscure but nonetheless interesting Chinatown venue was very good. This put us in the right frame of mind for the Trishaw trip which was quite exhilarating especially when the "whacky" races began! A bit of time doing the compulsory shopping in the market was OK and the night boat trip along the river from Clarke Quay was both colourful and informative. The guide was excellent (Andrew) and this sometimes can make all the difference. The only criticism I would make relates to the pick-up arrangements at the beginning of the tour which seemed somewhat cumbersome and unnecessarily time consuming.

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The meal at Chinatown was good and the Trishaw ride an experience not to be missed.

The tour was well, but I wanted to visit Chinatown as it was included on the description but we just visited one temple and pass along the quartier border with the bus.
Instead of visit it, we went to a Gem Gallery that was not included on the planning and on which I wasn't interested.
All the rest, good enough! But just for the reason you can go from one place to the other by bus, not taking metro and any other way, but they don't explain anything about the places you visit, just leave you 20 minutes on each place and that's all.

It would be much more complete and cheaper to do the City Tour by myself.

covers most of the tourist spots in singapore. i wish more time was spent in chinatown and little india

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

We were picked up promptly at our hotel and the transfer at the main transfer point went smoothly. Our visit to Yong Gallery was fun, as we each received a red fan with our name in Chinese characters written on it. Then we walked along Food Street into Chinatown. Our multi-course dinner was good, but only tea was included with dinner. A choice of beverages would have been nice. We enjoyed our shopping time at the night market very much, finding all kinds of goodies for the grandkids back home and had fun bargaining. Although it was raining, our trishaw ride was great fun. A plastic cover was pulled down to shield us as much as possible from the rain, yet still let us take in all the sights. The absolute highlight of the evening was our ride on the bumboat where we saw the beautiful lights of the Singapore skyline. The whole excursion is a "must do" while in Singapore

Doing what: Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour

The Trishaw Night Tour through Chinatown is simply brilliant and was the highlight of our 3 day stay in Singapore. Our tour guide (Maggie) was nothing short of brilliant and extremely funny. The tour is well planned and executed and it a tonne of fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an authentic experience.
