Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
This tour gave us an insight on how the Malaysian people live compared to the people in Singapore. The guide was very informative and friendly.

Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
At the beginning we were unsure what to expect, but both guides Singaporean and Malaysian and the coach captain were perfect. Their professionalism, enthusiasm and command of English were excellent. You should take the whole day tour, it is worth it. And considering the price / service ratio, it is a must.

Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
This was an interesting tour. Malaysia is so different to Singapore! I loved the craftsmanship of the Batik - the designs and fabrics were beautiful. The Mosque was very interesting and I was pleased to get the background information from the Guide on this, as it was a new thing for me. The view of the Straits from the Mosque is marvellous and the gardens there are lovely. The city of Johore Baru is very interesting and the Guide was so knowledgable - including all the medicinal uses of the plants we saw. One thing to note, the immigration/departure process between Singapore and Malaysia may take up some time and there is no control over this, so you should expect potential adjustment to your itinerary if the process takes longer than usual. Overall, a good tour.

Malaysia was beautiful. But we felt like they were just taking us on a shopping trip.

Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
There was no commentary provided on the Singapore leg of the trip which would have really enhanced the tour. Considerable time is spent clearing immigration. The tour guide in Malaysia was knowledgeable and interesting, however the condition of the garden was disappointing. The driver was friendly and helpful

Departure on time, there was no delay on the immigration, but very short excursion in Malaysia itself. Unfortunately entry in the Abu Bakar Mosque is forbidden for non muslims so you can observe it only from outside

If you would like a very quick look at Malaysia this is good value for money. Most of the time is spent travelling to, from and passing in and out of immigration and customs, twice, on both sides of the Singapore Malaysian border. Places visited are poor quality.

There is not much to see in Johore Bahru; the guide, a Malaysian, was average. We enjoyed the tour as a contrast to Singapore.

The tour guide was really good and informative, but I actually expected more. We didn't really see a lot of Malaysia as I wanted. We only had three stops. First was at an art shop where they show you how they dye the clothes; then we went to a random house, not sure why, to see how people lived back in the day; and the only highlight was when we went to see the famous mosque, which was absolutely beautiful, but we didn't get to go inside as it's closed off to tourists.

Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of good cultural information. The actual duration of the tour is limited by the necessity of going through immigration from Singapore into Malaysia and then again in reverse. Do take something to snack on, no eating on the bus since meals are not included. Would recommend a day tour of the same area if your schedule allows for it.

Doing what: Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore
I hate to admit it that this trip was absolutely awful. From no guide and no explanation in Singapore to a terrible guide going to a ridiculous "village", which was nothing more than a store with bored dancers and nothing to offer. Then going to the outside of a mosque and driving through a graveyard before going to another store. What a waste of time, poorly planned, poorly organized and with the worst guide ever once we got to Malaysia...please avoid at all costs!!

Spend more time going through customs going to and returning from Malaysia than we spent in the country. Really disappointed with the amount of time this took, particularly on the SIngapore side where there is no system in place and they close counters at random making people waiting in that line to have to change to new counter at the end of the line!! Frustrating and not worth wasting half a day of your holidays!

Very disappointed. It took 3 hours from pick-up to actually getting into Malaysia due to Immigration and customs. I felt a lot of time was wasted and there was little to see once you got over there. Not my idea of fun going to a cemetery on my holidays

Coming back from Malaysia I can honestly say I say I saw nothing of Malaysia but its shops. I would not go on this trip again nor recommend it to my friends. It would seem that you don't get what you pay for.
