Modern Architecture Along the Waterfront

Much has been made lately of Singapore reputedly letting its figurative hair down. This supposed trend may be greatly exaggerated (the city-state is still a far cry from other southeast Asian destinations when it comes to excitement), but the hyper-modern architecture that sprouts up in the city at such an incredible rate is enough to inspire a unique degree of man-made awe.

One of the most recent additions to the city in this vein is a pedestrian-accessible waterfront loop that extends over a little more than two full miles of riverfront property.
