Raffles, what can I say. This tour date was my 50th birthday so I wanted to celebrate it at Raffles having high tea. The whole tour was exceptional. So much history and a boat ride then High Tea. My son loved the Long Bar at Raffles. Were else could he eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. The tour guide was once again very knowledgeable regarding Raffles etc. I had a fantastic 50th birthday, thank you Viator, it was every thing I dreamed of.
This was an excellent trip - really enjoyed it. The tour guide was brilliant, very friendly and helpful.
This is the hotel you have always heard about, and what a treat to see it, and hear its history with a knowledgable guide. Then sit down to an elegant afternoon tea.
Pick was up on time.
Tour of museum was a little rushed, time in Raffles was good, we were able to look around as well as take "tea"
The bumboat trip and pewter was good
We would recommend this to any first time visitors to Singapore
We had just arrived at the end of our cruise so this tour was a good intro to the locality. Judy, our guide worked her butt off, especially with the downpour at the museum, ensuring we kept dry back to the bus with borrowed umbrellas. Her knowledge and personality helped ensure a great time and a real must for us was the Tiffin room afternoon tea at Raffles - just beautiful!! We wanted to stay another hour to enjoy the beautiful food and service. We will always remember Raffles and needed more time in the hotel too to appreciate the building itself. Lovely tour.
After HaLong Bay, here we got what a toruguide should be ... cleanly dressed, offering great facts on the things around us that matters ! The Tiffin was fabulous, altho I missed the harp-player (I was doing a Tiffin also 2yrs ago). Thank you.
I enjoyed this tour as an introduction to Singapore. The high tea at Raffles was worth signing up for - there was certainly some jealousy from those that had not pre-booked. If you are taking tea, I recommend that you miss lunch on the day of your trip!
