This was a fantastic tour. My son and I enjoyed every moment of this trip. My son learn t respect for other cultures and their beliefs, especially at the Buddhist Temple. Changi museum was an eye opener to him, as he realised how a distant relative was forced to live during his internment at Changi Prison, during the 2nd World War. My son has Autism, and this tour was excellent for both him and myself to learn more about Singapore. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very funny and the luncheon was outstanding.
Really enjoyed seeing another side to Singapore. Our guide was very informative and knew so much about the history and cultural aspects of the country. Particularly enjoyed the stop at Kranji and Changi. Would recommend for those who've "done" Singapore and looking to see a different view.
All along the way our guide gave us an extremely interesting insight into the urban and social side of Singaporean life.
There are times when the loud, inconsiderate chatter between some tourists on the buses makes it very difficult to hear the Tour Guide. In this case I was very impressed by our Guide's professionalism and grateful for his quiet, but firm, 'çrowd control'.
Lunch was lovely.
A very enjoyable and informative day. Many thanks.
The guide was very knowledgeable. The Changi museum was interesting and we could have had more time there instead of having a 20 minute stop at a food court. The stop at the mosque and the walk around the associated shops was interesting too.
This trip did not live up to my expectations. I had not appreciated that the chapel was a copy and that the elements regarding the prison were so limited. This may have been a failure of my research, but there was less content than I was looking for.
Excellent tour, very good tour guide with lots of informative information on the tour and on Singapore generally. Haw Par Villa and the temple were fantastic venues and Changi Museum was sobering. Bus was excellent and all pickups were on time. Lunch was average quality but in a nice location.
Eliza was a knowlegable, informative tour guide. This tour is highly recommended to anyone who has an interest in the beginnings and history of Singapore. 10 out of 10!
A dissapointing tour. As adecendant of a POW held in Changi I expected to be able to see the inside of the prison and chapel. In the tour notes it should state the situation as it is today.
Haw Par Villa looks a bit tired - the rest of the day was excellent - good guide, good food, good company. We particularly enjoyed Kranji and the Changi museum
