Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour
Amazing journey through terrible times, our tour guide was a fabulous historian with a lovely natural way of communicating the horror of war in a way that can be understood/tolerated by generations, particularly those who remain unaware of Changi. I feel much better informed of the men/women and children who had to endure the horror of Changi War camps, I felt closer to those who were tortured to death and those who survived beyond the horror. Thanks to our tour guide we emerged from the event remembering lots of information because of her ability to care and share information with us. A must see tour, worthy of much more than a couple of hours.

Doing what: Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay
this is a good tour of areas not normally seen in Singapore. Haw Par gardens are interesting though not a lot of time is spent there. The war cemetary, Changi museum were interesting especially if yourinterested in history or the war. Lunch on the coast with views of malaysia was a nice way to get to know others on the tour and get a taste of the local food. The Buddhist temple was very interesting and we had a very funny guide Phillip who had his commentary down pat. Definately worth doing this tour.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour
This tour was very well conducted, and was very informative. I had gone on this tour as my father was a soldier in the British Army in Singapore when it was taken by the Japanese in WW2. He was taken prisoner and worked on the Railway until the end of the war. The tour guide was excellent and I found out much information about the fall of Singapore of which I had previously been unaware. I can highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay
This was a fantastic tour. My son and I enjoyed every moment of this trip. My son learn t respect for other cultures and their beliefs, especially at the Buddhist Temple. Changi museum was an eye opener to him, as he realised how a distant relative was forced to live during his internment at Changi Prison, during the 2nd World War. My son has Autism, and this tour was excellent for both him and myself to learn more about Singapore. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very funny and the luncheon was outstanding.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour
I recommend this trip to anyone that has an interest WW2 history. It was great to actually go where history was made. The museum was well set out and all the exhibits were easy to follow. Finally our guide Helena made this trip with her bubbly personality and knowledge of the history of the war in Singapore

The Kranji War Cemetery and Changi Museum were very sobering to visit, beautifully kept, a memorial to be proud of. The tour was a great way to get an overall view of the island.

this was a gem. haw par was different and the kranji and changi experience is special from a history perspective and only reinforces that there are no winners in war, only dead troops

Doing what: Singapore 1942 Battlefield Afternoon Tour
Excellent and interesting tour !! ,Carol was an expert guide even went well out of her way to meet us at Little India MRT!, .We had lived in Singapore 10 years ago for a year and only ever went to Changi so this tour was great to hear about the significance of the sites of Mt Faber and Labrador Nature Reserve ,we also went to the Kranji War Memorial and it was very moving for me when we had a minutes silence that I had a lady next to me crying that had come to see a relative's resting place.

Doing what: Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay
A great idea of getting around Singapore in one day, especially if time is limited. Is also a good way for you to see an area of interest, and if you have time, you are able to go back and spend more time there. Had a friendly tour guide whom made sure everyone was well looked after, sharing information and seem to enjoy his job. The lunch was also a very good way to see and learn about Singaporean food and its people; it was a great meal - (Some people on the tour need to learn how a lazy suzy is used and to take it in turns - that is not tour guides fault). I really enjoyed learning more at Changi War Museum as this is an area important to Australians. My only complaint - I could have spent longer at museum - but as I have mention above, I got to see what the museum was like, and I could have gone back later if I have more time.

Doing what: Changi WWII War Trail and Museum Tour
A truly moving and inspiring tour, our guide Julie was not only very knowledgeable of the history of this sad period of the WW2, but she was passionate in her commentary, which she did in such a balanced way, we believed we truly understood what the men and women of the time endured. We highly recommend this tour; it was certainly the highlight of our holiday to Singapore.

Doing what: Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay
This tour is excellent in that it gives the first time visitor to Singapore a comprehensive view of a good part of the island. The guide was very informative giving insights into both the history and the present way Singaporeans lead their lives. The War memorial and also the chapel were very moving and a very good lunch was provided too. Good value all round.

Doing what: Singapore Round-Island Tour with Changi Prison, Kranji War Memorial and Gardens by the Bay
We had been looking forward to this tour as previously my husband had lived in Singapore and visited Har Par Villa Tiger Balm Gardens 40 years ago...was not dissapointed, apart from short time we had to look around...however, visit to Changi museum and cemetery made up for this, very moving. Lunch was lovely, plenty of choice. The guide was brilliant, answered all of our questions and more.

Doing what: Private Tour: Changi Village, Chapel and Museum Half-Day Tour from Singapore
Our personal guide and our chauffeur helped to make this very emotional trip a lovely experience. Changi Museum is very explicit, hard on the senses, it will make you weep, but our lovely guide made it bearable by her sympathetic approach. A must for anyone interested in WWII history.

The tour guide was excellent and it offered an insight into Singapore's modern history. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer individual questions in a thoughtful manner. The War Memorial is peaceful and heartbreaking, be prepared!
