Any property expert will tell you that one of the key elements that make for a truly great city is the size and utilization of public park area. People need an outlet after long periods of time in any urban landscape and as far Singapore goes, there are tons of great options.

One of the best ways to get the family out for some fun outdoor activities is at the Pasir Ris. With fabulous view of the coast, this lovely park–strewn with nature trails, barbeque pits and playgrounds—makes for one of the easiest and cheaper ways to spend a day out. Depending on what day you turn up, there are also a number of other great options including tours through a mangroves swamp and kids can even get onto a pony for a little ride. To get there, simply grab the 403 bus to the Pasir Ris station.
