While not as established (or as cheap) as other spa destinations in Southeast Asia (Thailand and Indonesia, for example), the Singaporean spa scene is definitely up-and-coming. There are virtually no traditional, Asian-styled spas in the city-state. The order of the day is hip, inventive, and new age, with everything from Ayurveda to green tea hydrotherapy. If you can afford to treat yourself at one of Singapore’s better hotels, you won’t be disappointed.
