We had an excellent hike inspite of the rain. Our guide was very helpful. We'll surely choose viator next time we go on vacation.

As a whole, the excursion was good. We were picked up on time and the driver was funny, informative, and friendly. The best part was the play; it was very entertaining and the actors were fantastic! The cons were the food and gold panning. The food was only average and the gold panning was a bit of a disappointment. We thought we would really pan for gold, instead it was a makeshift area that was planted with gold flakes. If we had known that gold was never mined in Skagway, we may have chosen a different excursion. Overall, it was good value for the money.

We didn't get to the summit and missed about 4 stops because of a vehicle fire on the highway. The guide took us to another area (nice but not what we wanted to see). It was very disappointing and we feel cheated that we didn't get to see the summit and the other stops. I feel I paid too much for this tour for what I got.

Outstanding scenery during this tour. We had a glorious sunny day.
Lunch was good, but the final destination in the Yukon left a lot to be desired - not much there.
Our bus driver was good and informative. All in all, we enjoyed the trip

To be mable to walk on the Chilkoot trail and float back down the river was one that my wife and I enjoyed greatly. The hike was not overly difficult and the scenery was beautiful. A great way to spend our time off the ship.
