My husband and I are experienced travellers. We like to explore on our own and use professional tours from time to time. This private 4x4 Yukon adventure tour was by far the best day trip we've ever experienced. We highly recommend it to anyone going to Skagway, Alaska. The panoramic scenery we encountered was so beautiful words just won't do it justice. You really need to experience this on your own! Ask for Brooke. She was our guide and was a delight to be with all day.

Although the weather was not cooperative, we did enjoy our trip completely. The driver was very knowledgeable and stopped quite often enough for us to appreciate Skagway and the White Pass Summit.

was brilliant tour guide was amazing had the best day .scenery was spectacular.

great trip. very scenic. driver pulls over at many turnoffs for pictures. lunch stop was also great for iditorad dogs and mounted animals. food was fair.

It was good trip. The guide was really nice and told us the stories in Skagway. We went up to the mountain, saw the railroad aross the mountain and took pictures iwth Welcome to Alaska sign. Kids were really excited about spotting a black bear right next to the tour shuttle. The toor also stop by the Gold rush cemetery

With the exception of the lousy weather, we had a very informative and interesting tour guide/driver. Highlight was seeing a mother bear and her three baby cubs along the side of the road.

I was looking forward to a lot from this excursion, based on its write-up. Unfortunately, it wasn't the highlight that I expected. To start with, the van wasn't the most comfortable of vehicles to spend several hours on. We also had the bad luck to take this tour on a day when it started to snow the night before on the Klondike Trail so by the time we got there, the roads were only partly cleared. On the few stops we took for photo ops., we dealt with calf-high snow everytime we stepped out of the van. Some anticipated sights were not at all visible because they were either covered with snow or due to poor visibility. The driver knew a lot and was funny, but there was only so much that he could do to liven up the narrative when you could not really see anything other than snow.

Doing what: Skagway Shore Excursion: Half-Day Tour to the Yukon Border

this was an affordable excursion but our bus driver"Bill" with his commentary made the trip memorable also lucky to see a black bear within 4 feet of the bus(we stayed on the bus!!!)

Doing what: Skagway Shore Excursion: Half-Day Tour to the Yukon Border

The tour was pleasant .Bill was a good guide with good sense of humour. However, the seats were very narrow and the bus too crammed.

Very interesting excursion in spite of disappointing weather. We had plenty of photo stops and enjoyed our lunch and time at Caribou Crossing

Very good tour. Friendly guide. Amazing landscapes. Suggestion to have translation to Spanish of explanation.

It was a very cool experience. The Salmon Bake was fantastic. The entertainment was good. The gold panning was not what I expected at all. If you are really wanting to know more about gold panning, don't go to Liarsville. All in all was a good experience, would go again.

This was an amazing experience. Bob our tour guide truley loves his job. We saw bear tracks bear scat, eagles, a brown bear and black bear. I highly recommend this excursion.( Better than sitting on a train.)

Got a discount on advance booking online. Compare that tour with the train, it's similar route, just that bus tour go more further to Yukon border. and the price is cheaper than trains.

The bus driver/ tour guide is nice and friendly, at the end of the trip, he drop me offed around the downtown areas for me.

That tour ended in the Yukon border and then return. Actually it only stopped at the sign of Yukon, took a picture and then return.

Overall that tour is fine, just not as good as I expect, but it's fine with that price.
