Doing what: Magical Soufriere - A Tour of St Lucia

Tour guide was very knowledgable and did a good job in communicating what we were seeing along the way. Stopped several places along the way to let us experience the local flavors of St. Lucia.

The tour was lovely EXCEPT they did not pick us up at our tour cruise pier as we had reserved and re-confirmed. They were a no show and until a local information person helped us contact the tour agency, we were stuck!!!

Doing what: St Lucia Shore Excursion: A Tour of St Lucia

Mostly good tour. Guide was very nice but too soft spoken and difficult to understand. We put my daughter up front to "interpert" for the rest of us. Didn't like that we had to tip every guides at every stop (botanical gardens and volcano) - seemed as though we already paid enough for the tour that it should have been covered - also the tip for the tour guide. There was no lunch stop or opportunity to get anything. If food not included, at least should have had the opportunity to purchase something along the way - I was glad I had some fruit and snacks with me. Description sounds like there will be a lunch stop at your expense but not the case, even when it was requested by one of the men on the tour. Otherwise, very nice tour - we saw a lot.

I recommend seeing all of the places on this tour, but beware that the roads wind through very steep hills and you may get stuck in the back of a van for ~3 hours. Wasn't a big deal for us as we were busy looking at all of the great sights and we don't get motion sickness, but near the end I was ready to get out. I could have done without the plantation tour and rather taken a mud bath at the volcano sight (which was very cool).

Doing what: Magical Soufriere - A Tour of St Lucia

Excellent ! We were not sure how the tour would work as we booked just before sailing. Our cruise ship tours were cancelled and we took a chance on Viator. From the time we left the ship and were greeted by a rep. with a sign with our names to the time of our return at the dock, nothing could have been more informative or pleasant. We saw the island as well as the items listed in the brochure and all were as advertised. I would not hesitate to use Viator again.

Doing what: Magical Soufriere - A Tour of St Lucia

A beautiful and inclusive tour of St. Lucia and the volcano area. Well worth paying the couple dollars to soak in the mineral springs at the site. St. Lucia has very twisty, hilly roads, so if you are prone to motion sickness, I definitely recommend you take Dramamine for this tour. Feb. 2011

Doing what: Magical Soufriere - A Tour of St Lucia

This was a wonderful tour and our guide was excellent! We were greeted by a representative from the company and she was holding a welcome sign with our name on it and we got to bypass all the long lines for taxis as soon as we got off the cruise ship and escorted to our private van. Our driver was wonderful! He gave us the history of the island, answered questions, and stopped on the side of the road to pick bananas and other fruits for us to try. We stopped at a cocoa plantation which was beautiful and even were given fresh juice. The volcano tour was amazing and the waterfall refreshing. St. Lucia is so beautiful and since there is a bit of a drive from the cruise port to Soufriere, we got to see a lot of the island. My husband and I had our 1 year old and 9 year old with us and it was perfect to have a private van to tour in and it was one of our highlights of the trip!

St. Lucia was beautiful and going on your tour was definitely the best way to see as much as possible in a short time.
