GO TO SHOALS BAY EAST ANGUILLA!!!!

My wife and I went on a day trip to Anguilla and it was one of the best experiences of our life! We got there via the public ferry from Port de Marigot in St. Martin to Blowing Point, Anguilla. It works out to $40 per person round trip. $15 ferry ride each way, and a $5 departure tax from each island. Once we arrived in Anguilla we took a cab to Shoals Bay East ($52 roundtrip). You can also rent a car from right around the corner from where you exit from the ferry. The sign said $30 per day if you want to explore a couple different beaches. Anyway, the beach was GORGEOUS!!!! We went to the more secluded side of the beach (eastmost) and had it all to ourselves. The water was extremely calm, more like being in a pool than the ocean, and you can walk almost 40-50ft out into the water and you will still be able to touch. They have several restaurants on the beach and it was overall a really, really good trip.
