Things To Do in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

This tiny, historic village, nestled between the towering walls of a sheer-sided valley not far from Interlaken is famous first and foremost for the extraordinary waterfalls that surround it. You can rent a bike in Interlaken and pedal to the breathtaking cascades of frigid water at Trümmelbach Falls, or hang out in the town square and glory in the sight of Staubbach Falls.

Mountain biking is indeed one of the most popular means of touring the area. You can ride to and from Winteregg. Once there, lock up your ride, and hike back to Lauterbrunnen via a trail that leads out from the town hall up.
